I finally decided to watch this tonight after UA-cam recommended me the song. . . and well let's just say I tried extremely hard not to cry but I ended up crying throughout the ending and AFTER the movie ended. The movie is gorgeous though. The animators did an AMAZING job on this one and it deserves to be on par with Studio Ghibli animations

我曾祖父（太公）广东高州（今信宜）早年下南洋并长眠吉隆坡，记得爷爷跟爸爸提过当年下南洋的先人吃苦耐劳、省吃俭用汇大量钱财物（手表等）回祖国给亲人，我们90后也铭记于心并且感恩！！！如今我们衷心祝愿马来西亚华族一切顺利并且早日争取与马来族平等地位！！！
小时候从历史书上知道抗战时期南洋华人给予当时的中国很多的帮助！现在大陆还很多人骂老共在印尼屠华事件中无作为！我相信同样的事件中国政府绝对不会再次坐视不理，毕竟南洋华人虽然不是中国人，但却是中华民族。

I finally decided to watch this tonight after UA-cam recommended me the song. . . and well let's just say I tried extremely hard not to cry but I ended up crying throughout the ending and AFTER the movie ended.
The movie is gorgeous though. The animators did an AMAZING job on this one and it deserves to be on par with Studio Ghibli animations

I finally watched the movie. For asian people we were born into buddhism beliefs and reincarnations, so the movie make senses for all of us. If westerners watch it, they might not get it logically at some parts of the movie. 湫, 椿, 鯤 love story is part of triangle engagement 爱, 被爱, 不被爱. 中国的动画片能拍得这样美也太感动了!
