Love your reaction! Yes, this two were made for each other. They have been friends for 10 years (they were classmates & room mates when they were in college, studying musical together). In college they spent 3 years rehearsing the play Rent (Ayunga as Angel and Zheng Yunlong as Collins; they were lovers in the show), and at the final performance at their graduation, they KISSED (which caught Ayunga by surprise lol). During these 10 years they have always been supporting each other. They share the same goal and the same dream and they understand each other so well. They are incredible partners on the stage and they are super intimate off the stage. Now they are both the top musical actors in China, but of course to each other the other one is THE best. The word SOULMATE is made for them. I'm crying.
I’m so glad that this entertainment show gets across the entire globe. As a Taiwanese girl I feel so proud that Chinese performance are also loved by dearly westerner girls as you guys!!!! I don’t know if you felt the same way, but this song really do showcase the best part of both of their characteristics, Zhen’s voice is very magnetic and steady, Ayunga’s voice is very expressive and emotional. When they sing together they become one. This kind of diet skillls really require lots of trust and practice, which is impossible without knowing each other for years. And yes I love their outfits too, someone should make them do a male-male version of Romio!!!!

A lot of beautiful boys on this show, I have to say. AN AWFUL LOT! China seems to have tons of shows of this nature, it's mind blowing. I wish I knew the vocal group these boys formed and performed on the Singer as. I'll have to check into this show more, myself. My Best. Out.
So, about the song, it's originally called "Ich gehor nur mir" meaning "I belong to me" and it's from the legendary German musical "Elisabeth" by Michael Kunze and Sylvester Levay. It's epic, it's history, it's a legend; however, the show changed the lyrics completely (without the consent from the original lyricist I believe because Kunze is intense when it comes to what he writes) and therefore ruined the core meaning of the song and everything it's supposed to represent. I adore these two and they sang this song wonderfully, but I still have to point that out since "Elisabeth" is such a masterpiece and I can't stand this kind of action.
I actually don’t have a problem with the lyrics, first of all it’s really a hard a job to translate exactly as it was and rhyme everything at the same time, not mention they only have several days to prepare a song. Also the original lyrics supported the background story and status of Sissi, don’t think it’s weird for two guys to sing to each other “Ich bin nicht das Eigentum von dir, denn ich gehör nur mir”?
@@dollyleo7486 I know translating songs is an extremely difficult job, but if you know you don't have the conditions to do the song justice, just don't do it at all. You can't just change someone's lyrics without their consent because you want to, especially not on television shows like this one. It's simply copyright matter.

I think for songs from musicals and operas you don't need authorisation to sing them (without any tampering of course) as long as you don't fully perform them as a production.
A music show actually isn't entirely allowed to play songs they have not purchased, even if it's a Chinese company. Can you imagine the amount of lawsuits they'd have if they didn't ask? XD Even for old songs where the original creator has passed on aeons ago, they are distributed by a company that has bought/inherited the ownership. Music shows function in a way where they have a music bank of songs where the royalty fees will be paid back to the current owner of the song, be it the artist, or the company that distributed it. Otherwise the show will not have that song provided. :o When it comes to competitions, contestants are actually given a wide list of songs they're allowed to use, and they choose their song from there. So even though you have talks of singers going 'Oh I chose this song.' it's usually a song they chose from the program's existing music bank. We have no idea whether the lyrics were allowed to be changed, that's between the company that distributed the song to this program, and the song's originating artist, but it's best not to wrongly accuse people, and assume what we do not know. ^^ (Companies may be loaded but do keep in mind their sister show, Singer, almost tanked due to lack of income. Lawsuits over copyright issues is NOT in their best interest. My uncle owns a small music agency, however, even the tracks used for artist's practice are paid with each use, even if the cover is not being released to the public. And I know one of the song list for the Singer was circulated back in it's second year, so if Singer uses that system, it would be odd if Super Vocal didn't. :o )
