While I absolutely respect and love Sam Cooper and his work I disagree with him on Pierre Poilievre reading the unredacted version of the report, as it would indeed tie Pierre's hands. Pierre would have to sign a NDA or Confidentiality Agreement which would swear him to secrecy, and once that is done, it wouldn't matter what he learned from the report he would NOT be able to act on it. So even if he found that one of his MP's were involved, he would NOT be able to remove him/her as this would be considered acting on the information learned from the report and Pierre would then be in breech of the terms of the NDA and could (and probably would) face prosecution. Reading it does no good at all, not in any fashion.
You failed to ask the most obvious and important question. The Libs have the parliamentary security clearance and protection to release the names of those members involved, yet they refuse to do so providing the lame excuse that it would be irresponsible to do so. WHY? The Canadian public has the right to know who these people are, regardless of party. It is indeed irresponsible NOT to release those names. It's a sure bet that most of them are Liberals being protected by those in power. Poilievre would be opening himself to legal repercussions by obtaining security clearance to read the report because he would not be allowed to speak of or address the issues in a public way without breaking the law...he's smarter than Singh and May. The idiot Singh keeps calling out the Libs for suppressing the report yet he and the NDP are responsible for propping up the crooked Libs to protect his pension. You don't have to be an investigative journalist to figure all this out...just paying attention will do.
Poilievre says his hands would be tied behind his back, what he means is he will need to sign a confidentiality agreement in order to read the report. He would be bound to secrecy and can’t not action on anything he learns from the report. Also and even if he could act -but not share the info -in order for a CPC MP to be removed from the caucus there has to be a democratic vote from the entire caucus. It not just Poilievre’s choice
Pierre is allegiant to Canada. He’s the official opposition leader. He couldn’t perform this role to the best of his abilities if he gagged himself. Thankfully he’s putting us ahead of his party.
You have to be a club member to get elected so Poilievre is in on it too. He profited from Covid through his wife and the things that he doesn't talk about gives him away. The whole system and everyone in it is corrupt by our standards but not by theirs.
I don’t agree with Sam Cooper on this one about Pierre. Tom Mulcair has the same view as Pierre. I agree with Pierre he needs to have the names and be able to share them. Especially when he is PM. Canadians will want to know. I don’t see that the Liberals will ever share the names.
Ha ha the ladies voice more scepticism about Pierre Poilievre for not getting the security clearance and giving up his ability to criticize on the issue, than they did About Justin Trudeau being in charge during this entire International debacle.
Wow, I just watched a Podcast at The Bureau. News about my own home town! I always wondered about a Persian Hotel in town on Yonge Street that never has many Cars in their parking lot, yet has been open for 10 years now? Prior hotel on that location was dead as a door knob before the 2008 Banking Crisis. "Iranian regime critic alleges "unprecedented foreign interference" in Conservative's Toronto nomination Prominent human rights lawyer Kaveh Shahrooz planned to push for aggressive laws to counter Iranian and Chinese interference in Canada" Great interview. Thank you for bringing Sam Cooper into my life. Bookmarked!
Then he will not be able to tell Canadians who those people are if he finds out, just like the other parties. How is that helpful, unless Mr. Cooper is going to spill the beans and tell us who these MPs are.
Cooper doesn’t seem very well versed on the rules around reading that unredacted support. It means you can never say what is in it or do any action that could reveal that is in it.
Poilievre has to limit whatever follow up and investigation take place to what has occurred since Trudeau has been Prime Minister. He's in a very tenuous position since he was a minister in the previous government. He knows more names than the ones that are now in question. He has an advantage in knowing that his admirers weren't paying attention until recently. They think this started with Trudeau. That's why he wouldn't support the NDP request to expand the inquiry when Trudeau appointed David Johnston to conduct the whitewash.

Vote Trudeau out now

It is illegal to release this information. Let the investigations complete themselves.

Sam Cooper is NOT for SALE. Canada’s most TRUSTED JOURNALIST❤️🔥👏🗣

Those ladies are some worried Trudeau supporters that have been wearing blinders for years

We've known about what Senator Woo has been doing for years.

If you think that the Conservative leader is not aware of exactly whos names are on that list you are too naive to be a Canadian.

I'm sure they all have their hand in the cookie jar.
NDP liberal voters. You watching this?
NDP liberals have shut down hearings into this issue and others
I popped in to just see your take on this. Proves you continue to lie about the conservatives. Good luck with that 😂😂😂😂😂
Canada needs its own identity this is not the worlds playground to do whatever they want
