Just opened my Kits-World Buccaneer decals (KW148140) and they are exactly the same. I don't have the other Buccaneer decal set to compare but I've used Kits-World decals before and they are nothing like this. I'll let the supplier (Hannants UK) know and see what they say. Take care

I had same problems with airfix Lancaster, the kit was very old and decals had a same surface. I' m sprayed Tamya's clear lacquer heavily thinned and had a good result.
It's disappointing when you hand over your hard-earned cash with an expectation of quality that you don't receive..... I'm sure you'll work something out, Doc. 👍🏻
I had a problem with Aztec Decals, they dissolved after 3 seconds of touching water. In this case, the manufacturers know that their product is defective and they sell it anyway.
@@juancho420 As you just said OLD DECALS, these decals were bought this year in February and used in July. They should NOT have caused any problems. It's over now, so there's no point in crying over the past.
I have same decals and I just checked mine. They look good. Super smooth like Cartograph decals. Your copy looks like a bad print run. I would contact Kits-world decals. Is the ebay seller legitimate? I wonder of these are copies not original.

I checked mine and they are nothing like this. Smooth and look good like Cartograph decals.

I've used Aztec decals no issues at all 🤷♂️
@@juancho420 The norm should be to have no problems, but sometimes it happens.
@@monkeyhobbies Ive heard of old decals dissolving. But you can spray decal film over them letting them dry then use and pray they work.

I can't say about seller right now. but this seller is big and well known seller.
