- In this video Dave gives the caravan windows an overhaul and they have come up amazing!
Each window takes approximately one minute to clean using Vu-Plex which disguises all of the thousands of hair line scratches you get on plastic and perspex.

Well done I used to work in formula 1 motor racing we use to use auto solve polish for deep scratches and good old pledge multipurpose furniture polish for small light scratches and polishing the car like yours and its only a pound a tin love your channel

Thank you for the recommendation for this stuff. We tried it on our Bailey Pegasus two days ago and it works a treat. The windows are definitely clearer and cleaner.
Secondly, we have just arrived at Coney Heath CL just outside Holt for our festive break. Had a quick wander around Holt last night at all the lovely shops and decorations. Absolutely beautiful.

For me this looks a really good product... even if it's not that long lasting to be honest... I personally don't feel easy about using cutting products, especially not very often... thanks for the demo Dave very much appreciated... Dave and Jane

Thanks for your informative video. I agree - VuPlex is a very useful product.
It fills in the micro scratches rather than being an abrasive. It's pleasant to look out of the windows after applying, and any remaining scratches are unobtrusive, unless they are deep ones.
Most other methods on UA-cam use some form of mild abrasive, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to keep on using abrasives for years, and there is always the possibility that using an "off label" product will react with the plastic.
VuPlex seems to stay on the windows for a long provided that you just use a weak solution of washing up liquid and your bare hands to clean the windows.

Just like magic Dave, an impressive illusion 👍. Did you buff off the over spray on the caravan ? Do you know I’ve got some Fenwicks windowwise and never even tried it but will do now I’ve watched this as our windows have lots of swirl marks. VuPlex looks a good product to use after washing the caravan to keep those windows looking shiny and new. Good demo. Cheers, Rob

Brasso (the liquid version rather than the wadding) will actually remove scratches, as would T cut. Both would need considerably more elbow grease than this product, but would probably be more long lasting. I have some doubts about the longevity of this application, be good to get a longer term review.

I have found some thing called Durable screen clean fluid 250 ml for £4.99 ,from Amerzon does the same thing vuplex

How long does it last before scratches start to show. Window's do look very clean and shine.
Hello Howell, I did them again last week, 5 months after doing them for the first time and you don’t use much each time. Really pleased with the finish again 👍
Is it removing the scratches in the sense that a cutting compound would or is it simply masking them? The results look good.

How does the product fair in wet conditions, like when you have just applied the product does it wash off straight away
Hi Chris, no it seems to repel the water a bit like when you’ve waxed the car, beads of water roll off. I apply it about 3 times a year 👍

Hi Paul, honestly I’ve never tried it. I would have thought it would be OK but the VuPlex is designed specifically for perspex and plastic. Not sure how but it certainly disguises scratches. I use it about 3 times a year. Cheers, Dave 👍

Hi Neil, I’ve had the tin now for about 6 months and I’ve done the windows 4 times I’d say it’s about 2/3rds full still. Thing is, you don’t need to use this stuff every time you clean the windows, so it lasts quite a while. 👍

There swirl marks, same as on car paint. Come from bad cleaning techniques
