When I was stationed in Idaho Falls, ID, Naval Nuclear prototype training 1980 and new to guitar, I purchased Happy Traum's Flat-Pick Country Guitar book. I use that same style to this day.
Very cool👍 great to see you doing well and still picking! Happy -I still have the great old early 1970s Mud Acres’ LP that you and other old great musicians/songwriters collaborated on. Love and play that Mason Dixon’ song often.
Great lick! And thank you for HOMESPUN! I discovered you back in the 90's with Roger McGuinn's 12-string Guitar video ... and I've purchased many lessons ever since.
Actually, I believe they do - under black light. I haven't tried it myself, but if you check the DR Strings website you might get some more info about it. I'm sure they're pretty dynamic in the right conditions, but in any light, they look great.
Since I was staying on the first three or four frets for this lick I didn't think it was a problem. Recently, when going up the fretboard, I put a piece of tape to mark the position.
I think you are a very good teacher,I am 81 years old. You are easy to follow thank you so much, Bob Millar south of England

Strings for the eldery when your vision goes
Not a huge fan of mahogany tops but if I were I would want one just like yours.
Do those strings glow in the dark?

strings are fine but the lack of fret makers is not the greatest idea for teaching IMHO
