@Al Sa, maybe you have figured it out by now, but you have to drop the gear cluster which is in the bottom part of the gear box by taking out the counter shaft. Once that is out the mainshaft will come out.
This video contradicts your other video. In this video at 00:20 it shows you oil slinger coming off (convex side towards bearing) and in you mainshaft video it shows your oil slinger the other way.

Is the transmission from a Hotchkiss M201? Because on the side there's WOF, which stands for (if I'm right) Willys Overland France...
