😂Chuck is just as slick as Jimmy. We JUST saw the way he handled Mesa Verde with Howard. He also got Kim busted down to researcher when he wanted to hurt Jimmy.
I remember back in like 97 or so my momma would send me in to our only gas station in town to buy her Marlboro lights for $1.85…..I was around 6-9 ish at the time. I miss old America sometimes…..alot of times!
Kim likes running game, just not at her job. She wants to do that by the book. Jimmy doesn't even draw that line - all game all the time. That's why she doesn't want to hitch her career to his.
Chuck thinks he has electromagnetic hypersensitivity.. the sun's magnetic field is stronger than earth's and reaches way beyond our planet so yeah I'd say the sun is a problem for him in his mind
I love that Paige and Kevin TOTALLY knew what Chuck and Howard were doing. I mean, Mesa Verde's a BANK! The second they mentioned "Hundreds of thousands" it was over. And can you really be mad at Paige and Kevin?
8:10-OMG, Perfect music for an entrance. Motown studio session Guitarist Dennis Coffey's solo hit ,Scorpio ( '73).21:00 Its smart on KIm's part financially, too-Usually the losing side has to pay court costs in Civil Trials, and well, you're getting to know Jimmy..If they're seperate entities she won't have to bear any $$ burden if he screws up.47:30, After burning them with the Mesa Verde deal, I don't mind what Jimmy did to retaliate, no matter how illegal it was.
This show is so good. I loved breaking bad but hated Saul so thought this show would be bad, but I watched the whole thing and I like this more than breaking bad. The whole thing is just so well done.
When Kim is contemplating Wexler/McGill that is the same overhead shot of the parking garage we got in Breaking Bad when Walt is trying to blow up Gustavo
Holy shit, I never noticed that lawyer dude @4:37 is the actor who played Juan Lozano on The Shield - one of the most vile and disgusting characters on TV. Wild seeing him as a lawyer!
You guys are great! I agree with BJ when it comes to Jimmy. He is not evil but before the show starts he was already a well established scammer in Cicero. His personality always shifts back to the grifter persona no matter how hard he tries not to
Well.. depends on how you describe evil. Doesn't always mean violence. He's a life long liar and thief. Taking from innocent people out of pure greed. One might call that evil.
The opening scene to this episode is probably one of the most important to understanding why Jimmy and Chuck’s relationship is the way that it is. We were told by Chuck that $14,000 disappeared from the family business over the years and gave us the theory that Jimmy had been carelessly pocketing small bits of change over the years, far from an implausible explanation given what we know. But then we see this scene and we realise that’s not what happened at all - their dad was actually the one who was completely careless with money and would be duped by the most obvious scammers because he was simply too naive and willing to take people at their word to think otherwise. Now, the scene also shows that Jimmy learnt from this scene that he should take advantage of his dad too, leading us to further conclude Chuck was right, but another interpretation of this scene is that Jimmy only ever took small amounts that genuinely wouldn’t be noticed but the vast majority of lost revenue is down to their father’s careless money habits. But Chuck? He’d never entertain that idea for a minute. Whether you think Jimmy is responsible for some, most or all of that lost money, the important part is that Chuck 100% believes Jimmy is solely responsible for it all going missing and never once would entertain the idea that anyone else could be the culprit. It fits so neatly into his idea of who Jimmy is that he committed to believing that idea, just like how he believed every other negative thing he could about Jimmy. And how much of Jimmy is genuinely because that’s who he is, and how much is because his big brother was always determined to see the worst in him?
Kim is smart not to be partners with Jimmy. Then if something happens she might be able to steer clear of the trouble. And it’s Jimmy, so there could be trouble!!
It’s amazing how successful Chuck is but deep down it’s pure jealousy for Jimmy cause he gets along with people and can relate but does anything to keep him down despite him cheating now and again 😂
That’s oversimplified. Sure, Chuck has some jealousy of Jimmy’s “people skills”, but he is also sincerely and legitimately offended by Jimmy’s illegal and unethical conduct, and Chuck does have real responsibilities and obligations to protect various parties from Jimmy’s misconduct. The relationship between Chuck and Jimmy is not simple.
@@markhamstra1083 “some jealousy” is crazy for a guy who lied about his mothers last words because he was hurt that she called for Jimmy at her deathbed. Chuck has deep resentment over Jimmy, and it shadows every action that he takes against him. Yeah, he cloaks it by saying whatever he is doing is for the sanctity of the law, but even Howard, who is as much of an straight arrow as Chuck recognizes he is consumed by his vendetta against Jimmy. The takes in these comments are literally corroborating the theme of the show of how stupid it is to reduce people to these immutable labels of good and evil and nature over nurture, that no matter what they do they are either irredeemable or unfaltering.
@@chatubarecords It is not just a cloak. Jimmy really is doing illegal things that do great damage to public respect for the law and legal professionals. And Chuck really does have responsibilities to protect HHM, its partners and employees from the tremendous damage that Jimmy could do to them. It is not just personal animus of Chuck toward Jimmy. But that doesn’t mean that Chuck is only operating out of pure, selfless motivations and well-ordered priorities. As I wrote before, the relationship between Chuck and Jimmy is not simple. Neither of them is wholly innocent nor wholly to blame.
@@markhamstra1083 “Great damage” “tremendous damage”. C’mon man, the writing is balanced in a perfect way to make you think about the validity of the rules Jimmy is breaking, and you’re talking about them like you’re reciting the bar code of ethics. We’re shown, at the end of the day, Jimmy’s way of doing things harmed no one except Chuck’s ego and his utopic and personal view of the law. How exactly was Chuck protecting HHM from Jimmy when he decided to interfere with Kim taking mesa verde with her? Something that he never would’ve done given his condition if it were any other firm. Agreed that Chuck has a responsibility to HHM. But he is actively “protecting” against his heavily biased view of who he thinks Jimmy is. Every other lawyer in the show gave Jimmy the benefit of the doubt anyone would give to a colleague. We see clearly that Chuck assimilates his professional view of Jimmy with his personal view. To the point that is pointless to try and draw a difference.
Jimmy is doing something illegal to get what he wants for Kim. Chuck did nothing illegal to help his firm and also to help Mesa Verde make a wise business decision.
Kim never would’ve wanted this anyways. He did it for himself too because he’s petty af. Chuck did nothing wrong by retaining a client. It’s unfortunate for Kim but didn’t warrant that kind of revenge at all
😂Chuck is just as slick as Jimmy. We JUST saw the way he handled Mesa Verde with Howard. He also got Kim busted down to researcher when he wanted to hurt Jimmy.
Tio literally means "Uncle". Yes, Hector is just about everyone's uncle, including Tuco.
BJ: What's he up to?
Asia: I don't know but it's probably not legal.
Me: 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
22? 22?! Are you 22 months?
I built a guitar out of Cocobolo wood. It really is a stunningly beautiful wood.
And he gets to be a guitarist! What a sick joke!
Jimmy changing the documents is the tip of the iceberg.
Your reaction to the episode ending was me every single episode. Such an amazing show.
I love when Mike does Mike shit. The next episode is definitely one of my favorites.

Omar, Ernie, and this-series-Francesca would've been the dream team at W&M..
Yeah, I'll go with that. Nice.
Kim likes running game, just not at her job. She wants to do that by the book. Jimmy doesn't even draw that line - all game all the time. That's why she doesn't want to hitch her career to his.
Game is what Kim likes to do. Game is what Jimmy is.
He will always be Slippin' Jim. Kim now understands that.
Has the sun ever been a problem for Chuck? I thought it was the powerlines.

BJ I think you're the only one on youtube to get that Jimmy didn't change, he just gets worse.
isn't getting worse a form of changing tho? lol
@@antbox1992 yea but he was never good and became bad he was mostly bad and got worse
