This movie is a perfect example of how a movie does not have to be emotionally uplifting, thought-provoking, or otherwise worthy as the critics want you to believe, to be genuinely entertaining.
Armageddon might be one of the best popcorn movies of all time! Highly inaccurate but thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish!
RIP Michael Clarke Duncan (Bear), A GENTLE GIANT!!!
Journey well, Bruce. 🚀
That salesman is your dad makes me cry every time I see it
Great movie!!! One of the best ever !!!
This and the Independence Day speech are among the best speeches in movie history.
Very nice speech.. 👍👍
We are so divided. An asteroid would be something to bring us together--I'm sure of it. Such a unity speech! Much love to all. We are humanity!🙌🏾
That or an alien invasion
Really? you should check out America right now... global pandemic and it is split between the people with the power to do something who just want to make money of the death and suffering and the people who dont have power who will end up dying for their greed, they would still be arguing about who pays for the rocket parts and how much bailout money they can get or whatever when the meteorite hit
This scene always makes me cry
the second greatest speech in movie history. The greatest movie speech is said by Bill Pullman in Independence day. I don't care what anyone says
+Philip Kennedy
Charlie Chaplin - The Great Dictator.
WE WILL NOT GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT
WE WILL NOT VANISH WITHOUT A FIGHT
*patriotically dumps entire 30 round mag in the air
I think the Coach’s speech in “Miracle” was better lol
no matter how many times i have seen this film this part still gives me chills
"Best speech ever" said the man who hasn't watched Independence Day.
here's a line from the movie that hots home for me every time. colonel sharp to grace stamper. : "may i shake the hand of the daughter of the bravest man i have ever met." or something along that line.
If this guy were a real president, this speech alone would be enough to persuade me to vote for him.
"Through all the chaos that is our history. Through all of the wrongs and the discord, through out all the pain and the suffering, through all of our times, there is one thing that has nourished our souls and elevated our species above it's origins, and - that - is - our - COURAGE!"
this is awesome....always was.....but the part where bruce willis is saying goodbye to his daughter was great too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a citizen of humanity
Definitely can't be daytime everywhere they depicted in the world at the same time.
Well not in Asia, no.
Well not in Asia, no.
+mcbunny1112 It looked like it was night but in a city with a lot of lights. And some places looked like it was early evening.
It is when America speaks.
+Maximillianrex Carpediem well, for one, it was early evening (4-5 pm) in Florida, and they show a daytime scene somewhere in France, probably Paris, but not assuming, it would be 10-11 pm there.
Best scene , best soundtracks and best movie ever.
"mum that sales mans on TV. That mans not a sales men it's your daddy"
When the military solute and the press rise to applause...goosebumps.
