i have delta 2 but this new baby is so quiet and compact. Will go on my work room paired with my solar panel 285 wat from brand amerisolar. It has enough power to start my desktop PC and then with 90wats of usage and possible 220 wats solar charging from solar panel it is an infinity energy-work station but "only during sunny days".
I have a bigger eco flow (river pro2) and I am looking for something like the river you demonstrate if I can use it to charge from solar and then use it to charge my bigger river. My solar panel needs to be a bit too far from my house for ideal sun catch, the eco river I already have is heavy, so I would like to have this smaller one to carry, catch energy from the sun, carry it back and feed my heavier river. Is that possible?
It's perfect to backup a small NAS & network, until the generator kicks in, so the battery size doesn't matter, as long as it lasts a few minutes.. The 600W output on the plus, is twice as much as the entry model River 3, and this unit has 3 AC outlets and comes with a USB cable already designed to plug into a PC or NAS, this is designed as a small network UPS, good job EcoFlow, now when can we get it??
WHY?! IT'S A UPS! What does it need wifi for? And even if there was a desire for an app, it should be program for Windows, not ARM!!! What even is there to control? It does 1 thing and 1 thing only. KEEP YOUR PC RUNNING DURING A SHORTAGE. I'm only looking at this because it LifeP04 as opposed to lead acid.
Not available , ecoflow does not even show it on their website. Waiting for it to be available. I'm about to order the river 3 but i think i will wait a few days Update Dec 6 just became available for pre-order , starts shipping dec 17, $209 plus free 45w solar panel. I found the River 3 for $149 B F SALE. I ordered both. Will compare run time when they both come in.
Sorry, but the capacity is a joke... I can get a 260Wh Battery for under 50$ I like the 750Wh Rivers but these tiny ones are just not enough for basically anything. All the space that was wasted for the carry handle & hole could have made this unit much better.
For that you'll need their extra battery which adds 572Wh. Might cost 3x the actual material cost. My guess is that the handle is meant to support that battery as it clips on. Apparently, the inverter self-consumption on this unit is really low and with 10ms trasnsfer time it may be a nice SLA UPS replacement. As long as they sell it for about the same as the other brand name 286Wh PPS it should be OK. Around $200 is the sweet spot right now.
@@florihae 100% on this! I was waiting on this unit, but said forget it and just got a River 3 on a sale with coupons. Just figure I can use it for all electronics, a TV, etc. and add my own LifePo4 battery with an XT60 cable and can make the capacity whatever I want.
Did EcoFlow give you a launch date?

Now I am waiting for the River 3 Pro
What's the IP rating?

What about inverter drain? How much does it consume on its own? Can you turn AC outlet on and leave it for 10 hours to measure % drain per hour?

It's on their website. Just search for river 3 plus or river 3 series
Can you inject solar power between the AC wall input and your load?
Ben Waiting for this
I was expecting this to be a sequel to the 2 max. Bit of a joke when the river 3 exists.
nice.
Missed opportunity to unplug the power while the heater is connected to see if it worked as an UPS but I guess you gotta go soft on your sponsor
Really sad river 3 Plus have 2 old style USB-A ports instead of new and powerful USB--C... WHY??? This is NOT TO BUY for me...

@adriftatlas their extra batteries are a scam. Waaaay too expensive.
@@florihae I agree.

I don’t think the battery size is an issue for home use. You can purchase any 12V lfp battery and connect it to the car/solar charger port.
