- This video is a story that explains why SCP-682 The Hard to Kill Reptile is actually afraid of SCP-999 Tickle Monster.
SCP 682 is a Keter Class anomaly also known as Hard to Destroy Reptile.
SCP-682 is a large, vaguely reptile-like creature of unknown origin. It appears to be extremely intelligent, and was observed to engage in complex communication with SCP 079 during their limited time of exposure. SCP682 appears to have a hatred of all life, which has been expressed in several interviews during containment.
SCP 999 is a Safe Class anomaly also known as The Tickle Monster.
SCP-999 appears to be a large, amorphous, gelatinous mass of translucent orange slime, weighing about 54 kg (120 lbs) with a consistency similar to that of peanut butter.
Simply touching SCP999 ’s surface causes an immediate mild euphoria, which intensifies the longer one is exposed to SCP-999, and lasts long after separation from the creature.

I am curious about an idea. Since in the SCP timelines, just about anything can happen. What would happen if the Scarlet King were to become displeased that 682 has failed to bring humanity to ruin? Would it or could it punish 682 for such a failing? If so, it could do anything from trapping 682 in a farm it'd detest the most, like say a humanoid shape. Or perhaps the loss of it's ability to adapt, but not it's immortality. Forever forced to regenerate exactly as it was. Unable to grow new features ever again. Who is to say. But it would be interesting that 682 would be subject to punishments from father.

I find it damned strange that they would put the tickle monster in the cell with the Hard to Destroy Reptile. They did not know what a great outcome would happen and had they been wrong and the tickle monster had been destroyed it would be such a tragic loss.
At 8:06 the look on 999's face is like "Come here you, you know you want me."
What if SCP-999 and SCP-682 are actually supposed to be one being, like the skeksis and mystics? The reptile resembles one of them sort of and SCP-999 could be it's better half. Imagine though if there was an SCP-682 that was nice, not wanting to kill anyone, and wanting to help humanity and everyone, quite wild to think about that.
Scp-999 testing proposal:
SCP-999 has proven to hold some form of sapience, though it's degree is not known entirely.
Researcher: [REDACTED] Has proposed the Idea of giving SCP-999 access to vocalisation implements used to train puppies to communicate with their owners to see if SCP-999 would be capable of simple conversation. Seeing as 999 is seemingly incapable of speech.
REASON FOR TEST: At present we are only aware of SCP-999's will to impose positivity on everything it encounters.
The hope is that we may be able to pose questions to 999 about it's origins and knowledge of various subjects.
RESEARCHER FOOTNOTE: advised that Dr. Bright is not allowed to participate due to his apparent interest in teaching 999 to curse.
CONCLUSION: TEST AWAITING 05 APROVAL.

Maybe the calming affect won't trigger the violent response brought on by prolonged exposure and can lead to someone talking to the child and getting more info about what she and Atonti are getting ready to do
I wonder what would happen if scp-682 were to meet fatalis from monster hunter, he'll probably appreciate fatalis hate of all life, the way it melts the bodies of its enemy to its body or even the fact it can regenerate from a few scales

Here is a theory: What if all the deadly SCPs (ex. 173 or 096) are actually nice, but they became hostile after the foundation captured them?
Well no. SCP-096 was found on a mountain and was hostile the moment someone saw him
One of the main ways the scp foundation finds these anamolies is by hearing about the deaths and destruction they cause. So, no, they are not nice.

They only found it bc there were reports of a tall white figure near the mountain likely connected to recent disappearances in that area. Or 076. Would it be possible to do SCP-049 vs Left 4 Dead's Green Flu and/or SCP-076-Able vs Jetstream Sam? I also have 2 ideas for how the Sam vs Able fight could start:
Scenario 1; A Samurai's Second Chance (More strange and anomalous):
Story: Sam gets reincarnated in the SCP Foundation universe after Raiden kills him. The Foundation gets Sam on their radar due to reports of a "strange part metal man with a glowing red sword". When the Foundation attempts to capture Sam, he fights back, deflecting bullets with his sword and slicing through personnel, vehicles, weapons, and missiles. Seeing his swordsmanship, the Foundation evacuates the area Sam's in and awakens Able with the promise of a skillful challenger. After Able is briefed on his mission and sent in, he finds Sam sitting on some rubble, wondering how he got to be in his current situation. Able and Sam then first meet, they talk for a little bit before Able informs Sam of his mission. After Sam agrees to have a duel with Able, they go to ready stances and draw their weapons, with Able being a little bit awestruck at Sam's High-Frequency Murasama blade. Sam would likely win due to the explosive charges in his sheathe and Able's inexperience with fighting cyborgs, especially the ones seen in the Metal Gear series. After emerging victorious, Sam is offered a job at the Foundation, with promise of maintenance for his sword and body, along with lodging and anything else he might request. Sam says he'll take the job on the condition that he speaks with the boss of the Foundation. The O5 Council reluctantly agrees as while it's a potential risk to them, the Foundation would greatly benefit from having a fighter as skilled as Sam on their side. Sam accepts the job, as he likes the idea of protecting humanity.
My notes: I prefer this one for 3 main reasons. 1, I got the idea from a meme where Sam gets reincarnated into Genshin Impact, and the video ends with Sam roasting Genshin's Raiden, who is inferior to Metal Gear Raiden. 2, this one feels more natural and make more sense than the other option due to fitting with the Metal Gear timeline better. 3, it opens up more videos and could become a series similar to the 682 in the Backrooms series (but with Jetstream Sam fighting different anomalies instead of an anomaly trapped in another dimension), due to Sam staying in the SCP Foundation universe.
Scenario 2; The Wandering Warrior (Fits Sam's motives, but not his story):
Story: Sam, while travelling the world, runs into Able on a rampage. Seeing Able's strength and swordsmanship, Sam challenges him to a duel. They go to ready stances and draw their weapons, with Able being a little bit awestruck at Sam's High-Frequency Murasama blade. Sam would likely win due to the explosive charges in his sheathe and Able's inexperience with fighting cyborgs, especially the ones seen in the Metal Gear series. After emerging victorious, Sam is offered a job at the Foundation, with promise of maintenance for his sword and body, along with lodging and anything else he might request. Sam declines, due to the power and size of the Foundation. The Foundation tries to capture Sam to no avail. They stop when Sam cuts a deal with the Foundation, if they leave him alone, he'll leave them alone. The Foundation agrees due to not wanting to have an enemy as powerful and skilled as Sam. He then travels to Denver, Colorado to take down World Marshal, ending the story with the beginning of the Jetstream Sam Mission in Metal Gear Rising: Revengance.
My notes: I'll admit before writing all of this I was going to recommend this scenario more than the other, but writing here I realized that this plotline leaves too many plot holes. For example: why wouldn't the Foundation be taking advantage of Metal Gear's amazing technology (cyborgs and UG's), how could any of the tech be developed without the Foundation taking advantage of it, and why would the Foundation let Sam go to World Marshal HQ? Samurai's Second Chance (SSC) turned out a billion times better than I ever imagined it would, while Wandering Warrior (WW) turned out to be garbage. I don't mind if Wandering Warrior ends up being used (in fact, I'll just be happy if the Sam vs Able video gets made), but I'd recommend NOT using it.
Final Thoughts: If y'all email me I'll be more than happy to draw up the storyboards and write the script. I'll even be happy with a reply to this comment. A few quick clarity things: My reasoning for Sam accepting the job and wanting to see the boss in SSC, but not in WW is because SSC Sam has worked for World Marshal/Desperado, met Senator Armstrong, and had his conversation with Blade Wolf about the aftermath of his boss fight. As for seeing the boss, he wanted to make sure he wasn't going to be working for another Armstrong. WW Sam is from before his job at World Marshal, and thus, he doesn't see any benefit from working with any large organization. The reason I decided on Sam, and not any of the other bosses or Raiden is because of some weaknesses of the others and strengths of Sam:
Blade Wolf: An AI who would most likely be outsmarted by Able's highly strategic, natural brain
Mistral: She's not as strong without support from the dwarf geckos and I don't know how I would be able to write in reasoning behind how she has them
MG's Ray and Excelsus: As cool as it would be to have Able lift a giant robot over his shoulder, it's way harder to explain how a MG would get to the point of being able to fight Able
Khamsin: He fights in a large mech suit so he has a similar problem to the MG's. Also he isn't as prominent as Monsoon, Sundowner, Sam, or Armstrong
Monsoon: A very tempting pick, but in 4th place due to how he probably wouldn't agree to an honest 1v1 sense he relies on his ability to separate his body parts
Sundowner: Also tempting, but he moves really slow compared to Able. He'd probably win if he somehow got a few surprise attacks to land, but it's highly unlikely
Armstrong: Even thought he's super iconic and shows some sportsmanship, I thought that it would be more fun and interesting for it to be a 1-on-1 swordfight
Raiden: If Sam didn't exist, 1, I probably would've never heard of Metal Gear Rising and, 2, Raiden would be my pick, however, Sam has a slight edge on Raiden
Sam: He has a more iconic sword than Raiden, plus he has the explosive charges in his sheath and he has the iconic "Let's dance" line.
As for Able, he's the only one who would want an honest 1v1 and wouldn't completely decimate any opponent.
Sorry for the long comment, but I hope that all of this will be taken note of and responded to. Also, from now on with these comments, I'll have Sam vs Able first, with 049 vs the Green Flu second, and I'll have a link to this video so that I won't have to write a comment this long again.

Dr. Shaw is also not permitted to attempt the induction of replication via budding in SCP-999. It was a fun idea as far as it goes, but even if it were successful, the possible negative effects on staff productivity outweigh the positive effects this might create.
The occasional references to the movie “Gremlins” don’t help inspire the Foundation’s confidence, either.
