For a season that was supposed to be a transition year, SNL is unexpectedly killing it. Great new cast members and solid writing all season. And the hosts have been on point too. The Woody Harrelson episode was a little weak (but still had some funny sketches). Most episodes have been really funny, and hosts like Jenna Ortega, Quinta Brunson, PedroPascal, and Ana De Armas have all pretty much crushed it.
Don't forget Megan and Keke

I love Woody. He's done some great stuff and has had an amazing career, but he was stoned out of his mind while hosting.

This is absolutely hilarious. Who knew Ana de Armas had excellent comedic timing. She was incredible throughout.
Thats why celebrities host SNL... to show their comedic talents, and make the audience think they re easy going and fun, just like us.

This was probably one of the funniest SNL videos I’ve ever seen! Ana kicked it off the charts. 2:40 is epic! “Hey Spicy … I need to you to drive me to the hospital in your 2001 K-k-k-k-kkcarona!” And the 2:58-3:20 punch … that whole bit was so perfect.

It is not like this at all. Look at the sketches from 2005 to 2015 to understand the big difference between the casts of these periods. Besides, I'm not referring to the 80s and 90s of SNL.

I watched the whole time that guys like Mike Myers and David Spade and Adam Sandler and Dana Carvey and Chris Rock and Chris Farley and Kevin Nealon and the like. I was also there for the Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, Molly Shannon, Norm Macdonald and the like. I was also there when it was Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey and Adam Sandberg and the like. Was also a big fan of when it was Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig and Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader and the like. I also absolutely love the show now. What I don't understand is the point you're trying to make. Should look at the period between 2005 and 2015 but yet you're referring to the 80's and 90's. Are you okay?

Dear friend, see the quality of casts of generations and as a result the level of the entire SNL program as a spectrum. It's okay to have different tastes, and I can understand the interest in the current cast, which most likely stems from your political views. In the past, the quality of the comedian and his personal skill in performing was the determining factor for his employment. But look at the actors now; There must be a trans person, a gay person, a woman of color, etc. in the actors, whether they are experienced comedians or not

I don't care if there is gay characters or trans character or black character as long as what I'm watching is good it doesn't matter. I'd rather be awake to the world then have my head shoved in the sand forcing myself to believe nonsense that is outdated or not true so that I don't have to disrupt my inner peace. I don't care about politics. Politics have nothing to do with my decision-making process. I also don't assign morals and values to things around me either. I don't decide what around me is good or bad except for the most extreme cases. My thoughts and opinions are based on logic. 100% what makes sense. And the way people like you seem to think and live does not make sense, especially in a world that's moving into the future not into the past. My love of the show has nothing to do with the inclusion or lack of inclusion of anything or anybody. I just really think the cast is really funny and they stopped having as many political sketches and they've had a lot more sketches of just silliness like a woman who shakes the table when she tosses her salad LOL. You're the person that goes around assigning politics to everything. I mean how do you determine what is a good show or movie? If you're not basing your conclusion of whether tbr move is good or bad based on just how good or bad it is then I think you've lost sight of entertainment. Ego Nwodim is one of my favorites. She is so talented and I love all of the characters she plays. She’s amazing and this skit is hysterical

SNL is back!!! This has everything a comedy skit needs. The contrast of the praise and and putdown in the same delivery, the distraction of the hummus and pita bread and gyro, and the 2001 Corolla (an amazing car in longevity)!

Ana is one of the best actors I’ve ever seen at delivering sexy and/or over the top comedic dialogue. She absolutely killed it here- and what is even more impressive is that she’s originally from a foreign hispanic culture where this kind of humor wouldn’t register- but her range is so great that she pulls it off effortlessly. And those pink glasses were a great touch!

The second I see the recording studio set I know it’s going to be a good sketch. This, the video game voice over and zooopolis rank as some of my top favorites from recent years. Partially because the writing is really good, but also because the actors really deliver in these settings ❤
