Great video - thanks for sharing! Nice plane - the FX3 with the ACME Aero set-up is fabulous. I really enjoyed flying it on the backcountry course with TacAero.
Love your videos and narration. I still have my 40-hour flyoff in front of me but have four grandkids in West Peoria and would like to connect someday.
Congrats on the new plane! I've been waiting for the big reveal :) Looks beautiful. One note, your fuel/boost pump does not sound normal or maybe it's an audio effect from the video recording? It should sound like a smooth running electrical motor. I suggest tap the right side of your G3X to view the engine page, view the fuel flow, go full throttle, mixture rich, boost pump on and ensure you have fuel flow flowing. My main concern is not for starting but for the purpose of the pump in this plane for steep climbs at full power, etc. Here is a video I did on this topic: ua-cam.com/video/AFnxH368y5k/v-deo.html
Awesome airplane and flying!
Nice plane. There's not as many places in the area that we need one of those but it would be a blast. Sweet plane, have fun and be safe!

Beautiful airplane.
Good stuff Mr.
FWIW - It was a modified SS that Red Bull landed on the pad with. Sweet plane, been following your build vlogs!
The Garmin avionics are awesome! We have the same screens and autopilot in our bonanza
Thanks for watching! It's definitely been fun learning how to use it!

Definitely! Where will your plane be based?
@@Cubonaut875 Shelbyville, IN
@@kevinestes2431 not too far at all. Hope to see you at OshKosh!
The plane that landed on the heli pad was an SS, not an FX2. Sweet plane you have there!
Wow! Thanks!
Well that must mean good luck because you have a airplane and a brand new one.
Just curious
How much and what the normal altitude does it fly at .
Thanx in advance.
I think I want one of these
It’s about two nice Lamborghini’s and I usually fly it 500 to 1000 feet over the ground. Check it out on Cubcrafters.com Carbon Cub FX3

Yeah, mine sounded like that right before it failed.....first boost pump only lasted about 75 hours, second has lasted 200 so far.
