I love how Melly skin looks good without many flashy effects, skins should be more like that, they still look gorgeous without flashy things and, apart they are even less laggier. In my opinion, simple yet gorgeous skins are the best ones

Tomie is "a monster" that looks like a creepy girl, the walking animation is done perfectly for her
But for this skin, she is now an elegant lady. the walking animation just doesn't work well with this skin
other than the walking, everything else is ok

For example the movement of her arm during the walking animation, it create a walking style that does not fit this skin
You know what could fit? Geisha (beauty form) walking animation

They said Melly's facial scar would be included in the final model yet it is nowhere to be seen, once again netease erasing a character's distinguishing features in a skin 👍
it's a birthmark and it's replaced with a design the same color as her dress you cna see it at 1:46 when the camera shows her left cheek

But it seems odd to make it a barely visible marking when in their last Q&A they very explicitly stated they would include the facial mark as it's supposed to be, and what we get is something that, like you yourself said, we were only able to see it for one shot in the whole video. But oh well! Such is life. I'm not here looking for a fight over a fictional character's facial mark yknow lol

My opinion about this essence:
- Yydhra's skin is okay, beautiful witch with legs, followers with small heads that i dont like cuz they are like children dressed in depraved clothes, both look like Merilyn Manroe and the little version of her and all are with gypsy style, or maybe she stole the style of last S Geisha's skin, nothing else to add.
- Norton's skin, again. Looks not bad, simple style but it looks more detailed then his other skins. Dont like his hair under this hat, they aren't suitable for each other. Everything else is good
- Melly's skin is okay, looks pretty simple and the dress looks like she doesnt have money to get better. Or she is stuck in the old fashion where it was cool to dress like you were in a bag.
Plus the bandage on her eyes shows more that she is blind than she is a beekeeper. I dont like that devs make her looks like blindgirl...
- About B-tier skins of this essence i like them all, absolutely. Hope to get every B ones. And i love that essence got the story event that consists of Leo, Emma, Freddy, Kreacher, Emily, all of the character with those we started the game and the plot of Identity V
Plus im happy that Burke got another skin.
