- Zenith's Sebastien Heintz takes the Zenith CH 650 to 10,000 feet above the kit aircraft factory in Mexico, Missouri, enjoying the great visibility from under the gorgeous bubble canopy. The Zenith CH 650 is an all-metal light sport kit airplane suitable for engine from 90 to 140 hp, including the 130-hp UL350iS engine installed.

If there's a god, Ben of bensound will be stuck in an elevator with that song playing for all eternity.
Have you ever thought of Demo ing in the mountain country of the west like Az/Col ...!!! I live at Prescott and elevation is at 5000 ‘...!!!
I think the scenery at 2000 agl is prettier than at 10000 agl. It's nice to do though when you're just needing to get to your destination. I've always liked the CH 601. That Y center stick has to go though!
There is a dual stick option.
And for me, the power lever has to come to the right.
i love this plane but i wish it had 4 seats. :)
They played around with a twin engine design. With two UL350iS a four seat version would probably be doable. I hope they decide to revisit that design and update it.
Edit - they just need to get UL to make counter rotating engines.

If they added a few inches of fuselage right around the middle of the cabin, two extra seats could easily fit. A little extra wing span, a slightly more powerful engine, some CG math, and you'd be golden
First :) Nice aircraft soon hope i will be able to own one :)
Did you have a technical reason for the climb or just for fun?
We typically fly much lower and do not have many reason to fly so high
It doesn't have a very big tail. How's the stability?
It's a full flying rudder. Lots of control and plenty stable
@@zenithac Watching a video or two I wondered how the pilot could control the joke and fuel and then get a free hand to control the radio or other things. Is there a pitch trim?
why add crap music
Agreed. Many aviation videos ruined by this. It may sound good to the uploader when putting it on YT, but not to the ‘uploadee’.
What was your rate of climb from 9k to 10k?
We weren't testing for performance: Our climb rate and angle were relatively low. Power setting was about 2,800 rpm climbing at about 105 mph. Our climb rate from 9,000 to 10,000 was probably around 400 fpm at those settings. I like the UL350iS engine with no mixture control to adjust.
Zenith Aircraft Company Thanks for your response. I'd like to come by the factory in early June and test fit my body in a CH 750 to see how easy it is to get in? I'm 6' 1" and 220 lbs.
Whoever edits your videos, please tell them to stop using music
Agreed. A lot of aviation videos (whether it’s a demonstration such as this or simply a pilot filming a flight) are ruined by shoddy music.
I like your videos, but would prefer them WITHOUT the music.
Impossible to really like it BECAUSE OF THE MUSIC. Shut it off!
You are unaware that YOU can mute the sound of any UA-cam video?
@@Tsedek_ben_Shimon Muting would mute all the sound including any voice if any.
@@farhanfouadacca Besides stating the obvious - is there something intelligent you had to add to the conversation?
