Hello, for the question about the 41 year old with the family history of bi-polar , the correct answer that was chosen was an antidepressants Citalopram. I chose Depakote because of the bi-polar background. This one definitely confused me. Overall, thanks for this video I learned some things to study for my exam.
Hello, thanks for the comment and your not wrong; however, the client has already been prescribed medication that doesn't seem to be working and Citalopram is used when other antidepressants have not been effective.
Or the clients diagnosis of Bipolar D/O is not correct as Citalopram hxly doesn't treat bipolor. It could be a diagnosis change in lieu of a medication change. LPC-MHSP
