i love how light the mini rectangular is compared to medium double flap... I use it more than my medium flap on a daily basis.

It always feels like people just go into the store for 30 seconds, know exactly what they want, and buy the bags without a second thought. But I agree with you that it's important to try them on! I have the 17C black square mini in lambskin. its so beautiful and so much more durable than everyone was telling me. I've even been caught in the rain with it.

Just a couple questions about your Mini 😊
Is color transfer ever a concern? Example - would you use your Rose Ballerine empreinte pouch in it without any concerns?
Also, would the LV cosmetic pouch PM fit in it? I'm sure it would take up most of the space if it does? I was just thinking i could keep items inside of that to keep items 'safe' if that makes sense?!

i have the same one but i always thought the light gold would look more like gold, but it basically looks just like silver hardware to me with the naked eye but when its under some lighting, it looks gold when i look at it through a mirror. is yours like that too?? not sure if my SA sent me a silver by mistake or if light gold is supposed to basically look like silver with hardly any gold to it

I owned this same mini rectangular you have in the light gold hardware 2017 cruise collection but in caviar, my question is ... I am looking to buy my second and last chanel and I am looking to buy the black Medium classic flap (same you have) my question is .. if I have the mini in gold hardware with caviar do you think my best choice could be a lambskin medium with silver hardware !?? I will use it mostly for evening dinner and special occasion .
Also I am very petite 5 feet tall , do you think maybe the small flap is better choice ?
Hi! I'd like to give some feedback on this as I've been struggling with which chanel to purchase too, I would go with lambskin with gold hardware in medium size! Gold looks a lot more luxurious, so it will look beautiful as an evening bag. I wouldn't get a small size just because you already have a mini so it's too similar in my opinion 😊
Can you do a chanel classic small in comparison to a medium flap?

I think lambskin in the Mini size is fabulous! I get worried about the creasing it would get over time from the fold of the flap. I wish the strap was longer for crossbody 😕 Still a gorgeous bag 😍

This is a beautiful bag! And I must say it looks amazing on you crossbody! You made it sound terrible lol. I'm not big chested but BipolarMax is and she mentioned curvy ladies do sometimes have issues with crossbody bags because it almost "separates" the breast in a awkward position. It suites you very well!

Sabrina Witte I purchased the small in Paris in July because the mini wasn’t available. The biggest difference is the chain length. I’m 5’7 and the small doesn’t work crossbody without sitting up too high. I’m now looking to get the mini for it’s crossbody feature. The small doesn’t seem to hold much more than the mini. Isabelle Ahn has a great comparison video.

I recently call chanel boutique in vegas I want this bag ....she told me I have to be put on a waiting list let me know
I have two of them in the black lambskin leather and they are the double flops size small one in silver hardware and one in the light yellow gold hardware the bags are identical just the hardware is different I cannot fit too much of anything in there I have to use my Louis Vuitton key clays to put my money credit card and license in a lipstick and then my keys on my other clay I can’t use my six key holder So not much I can fit in there and then squeezing my cell phone it’s an iPhone 8 these are the only two bags I own from Chanel I currently on 23 bags from Louis Vuitton I kind a wish I didn’t buy the Chanel bags but they are beautiful

Minnie, I recently purchased a sarah wallet from LV. I notice that the brass button that is attached to the wallet when I open the front flap is not loose but looks like it is up on one side, not flush with the wallet. It works fine but I'm not sure if it will in the future. Is this normal? Am I being to obsessive?
If its going to bother you, ask the SA if you can exchange it for a different one. :)

We have the same body type .. although I'm slightly shorter .. with a large chest as well .. that's why I've been hesitant to buy the Chanel mini .. I think I can never pull this bag off as a crossbody :(

Lambskin shiny gold hardware looks best, but caviar last forever in matte gold. which one makes better since being that lambskin will scratch and quilts will deflate in 10-15 years?
