Alright, so here it is, hopefully the start of something big on my channel. Please check out EVERYONE who helped make this in the description, a lot of love went into this! As this is the first episode, any feedback you may have is GREATLY appreciated, thanks! =D
This is my theory: the Magalor EX and Magalor soul flight is the Canon final in battle Return to Dreamland. Considering they made a cutscene of him transforming into that form. And unlike the Galacta knight true arena cutscene in Planet Robobot witch was made with the in game models, the Magalor EX cutscene was animated. And if they only did that for the extra mode why didn't they just use his model to transform into the EX form like Landia?
I also have a theory, I think I commented this in the new channel series video, but I’m lost it here too.
What is Magalor? Is he a species? Or something else... In every game he’s in, Magalor wears his cape, scarf, and his face coverings. But what is under the mask? A species? We meet a Magalorian in Super Kirby Clash (DX too) and he seems wearing green, instead of the trademark blue robes Magalor has. But, if you buy EVERYTHING the shop has to offer he works at, he changes into his signature blue robes. It may look the same as Magalor, but is that really him? Would he really sell you this stuff? Yes, after you defeat him in RTD, he goes and starts his own theme parks for Kirby and Dedede in 20th Anniversary Edition and Dedede’s Drum Dash. But why completely swap professions to shop-keeper? I believe it is another one of the Magalorians, making it the only other one ever seen in any other Kirby game. But even then, where do the Magalorians come from? Are they some descendants of the ancients? Some people might say, Magalor tells you where he lived, he said Halcandra! But maybe he just did that because he wanted a reason for Kirby to come with him to this planet, and not seem suspicious. Under the influence of the Master Crown Probably. However, there is World 6, (Egg Engines) which has the word egg in it, which is what Magalor looks like, but it looks like it was destroyed and Metal General, looks like a creation of the Haltman Works Company, and probably mechanized it, and left a The Metal General there on accident or to protect the area. Yet maybe, this is where Magalor came from. Maybe it was the prosperous home of the ancients, (or just some ancients) until they lost their ways, mostly dying out, but the final blow was when the haltman works company came. However, World 7, (Dangerous Dinner) doesn’t look mechanized, and the reason for this is probably that the company was afraid of Landia and the Master Crown and left that area untouched. Probably only a few escaped, including Magalor, or his parents/grandparents. Magalor only simply calls it his “Homeworld” because he doesn’t actually live there , but was a species that came from there. He might have heard legends of the legendary crown from his parents, and gone looking for it, only for him to get corrupted by it and get shot down by Landia on Popstar. That is my theory. To recap: Magalor and Green Magalor are part of the Magalorians, the descendants of the ancients, which might explain why he knew so much about them, who lived on Halcandra, until the Haltman Works Company, mechanized Egg Engines, leaving Dangerous Dinner behind because of Landia. Many probably died, explaining why we’ve only seen 2, and they were left to wander the cosmos forever.
But wait: what if Magalor isn’t even an organic being at all? What if the Magalorians were made by the Haltman works company in their mechanization process? Only time will tell... let’s hope we see more of Magalor and his species.

Wow, those animations from Kimi are TOP NOTCH for this. Wasn't expecting you to call on her for this, but you made a great decision in the end, my sir.
And hey, I was happy to assist in proofreading the script. May not be the best of all jobs, but it's always nice to look into someone for second opinions and see what possible edits should be made before the final product comes out.
Here’s a theory I came up with awhile ago, maybe you can go through it:
After doing some research and putting some stuff together I think I’ve figured out what the true meaning behind void terminas first and third forms are. If you look at void terminas wiki article it will source an interview with one of the devs who talks about void termina a bit. Here he states that Hyness had a dream in which a god spoke to him and told him to follow him to paradise, and then later Hyness read about void in the book of legend and presumed that void was the god that was talking to him, heavily implying that the god Hyness saw in his dream and void are two separate beings. I believe that the first form we see of void termina is a mirage of the god Hyness thought he was reviving and the one he saw in his dream. Since Hyness threw himself into the jamba heart just before the time of voids reincarnation and given the jamba hearts similarity to the heart of nova which can grant wishes. The heart must have heard Hynesses plea and granted him his wish of reviving the the god he saw in the dream, creating the outer shell of void made to grant the wish of Hyness due to his sacrifice and wish. During the second phase you eject Hyness and open voids outer shell inside him and then he sprouts wings like zero 2. I think this is suppose to show that it’s turning more into void rather then the god Hyness thought he was reviving since Hyness is no longer in its body and it’s “true form” is starting to be revealed. And even if you look at void termina, much of his armor has Jambandran imagery, now you could say they got the logo for the cult from void termina but I think the logo of the cult is on void termina because again he’s a projection of the “god” Hyness thinks he’s reviving.
I can see how this theory can have some flaws but I think it makes a lot more sense the thinking it’s one of the ancients.

To add to this, I think that void can copy the memories of others it comes into contact with along with its own. My interpretation of the third and fourth phases is that Void started copying Kirby's memories (Zero Two wings, Master Crown, Dark Matter form, etc.) as well as the memories of Hyness and the Mage Sisters it had already copied in the first phase (possibly the body, weapons, and elements). This could be due to the positive energy that Kirby attacked with mixing with Void Termina's energy.
Carson Koenen yes I agree, I remember in the same interview the developer also mentioned the fact that the reason voids fourth form has kirbys face is because he was influenced by kirbys positive and pure energy when he was let out of his shell during the second phase.
I've been wondering why the Jambastion Cult symbol depicts Void Termina's 3rd phase for a long time now- the idea that it is that way because of Hyness' dream actually does explain it.

I have one, is Kirby still learning the about the full powers of the copy abilities, in the older games, Kirby can't really do much with the abilities, but over time he can start to do more and maybe continue to learn, like in return to dream land when his learns of the super abilities.

Theory: I have said this Theory before but here it is again: Coily Rattler could either be a creation from the ancients or even be an ancient himself. As said in the pause screen description it says the people of the sky see Coily Rattler as a god/deity so it could be possibly connected to the ancients which are basically deitys themselves

I'll share this since it's somewhat related: I've begun to think of the speedrun modes like Meta Knightmare and Guest Star as the dreams of the characters you play as in them. The pause descriptions often talk about the characters' desires (like hoping to revive Sectonia), and it would explain why a Broom Hatter would be strong enough to beat characters like Morpho Knight in a fight. Dreams are also rather magical in the Kirby universe, so who's to say they couldn't take elements from the universe that the characters didn't know about (like Galacta Knight)?
You could argue that it doesn't work, since at least Meta Knightmare Returns is considered a "what-if scenario" or alternate universe by the developers; however, a dream could be seen as a what-if scenario or alternate universe from a certain point of view. Honestly, even if it doesn't work, I just think it's a fun headcanon.
I like this theory. Since dreams are magical and possibly have form on Pop Star (It does have a "Dream Land" after all), or maybe in any planet where a Fountain of Dreams exists, perhaps these character's dreams can interact with the dreams, or "Souls" of other living beings. This explains the strange nature of both the alternate playthrough modes like "Guest Star" and the Arena modes, and how the special battles in those can still be "canon" even if they didn't happen in the "real world".
Considering the post-game oft Forgotten Land, you might be into something here...

Theory:
The Sparkling Stars (Kirakiraboshi) from Kirby's Dream Land and the stars from Milky Way Wishes were intended to be the same item. Not just for the sprite and the Starships, but Kirby's Adventure japanese manual refers to the star on the Star Rod as "the star that sparks" (but without using the word Kirakiraboshi directly). Also, the Star Allies Sparkler is called "Twinkle Star Allies" in japanese. Twinkle Star was another translation for Kirakiraboshi.
Edit:
The music track that sounds when the true form of Void Termina/Void Soul/Void is shown is also called "Sparkling Star". The theme of the Mage Sisters uses also the same melody. If we consider that the Star Allies Sparkler is related to Void, could Sparkling Stars (Kirakiraboshi) be related to Void?

Also, Twinkle Star Allies' Japanese pause screen description refers to the star as a "Twinkle Star", in English. In the English version, it was translated as "sparkling star". Why did HAL translate several words that are already in English in the original version?
More evidence to add to your theory; In Kirby Super Star Ultra: Revenge of the King, Kirby uses the Sparkling Stars he got from the 3 previous bosses to form the Starship when he fights Kabula. I think this is a great and solid theory, although I can't tell if you are saying they ARE the same thing, or they were MEANT to be the same thing before Hal may have decided to make them just separate things of each other. Do you mind clearing that up for me?
Also I thought "星" (hoshi) was star. I know "きらきら" is like an onomotopiea meant to describe sparkling, so is the "boshi" part like some kinda accent thing or...?
This is a great theory! Also the fact, yeah these sparkling stars seem to grant power and may be related to the ancients source of power for these artifacts? Since many artifacts and even bosses seem to have hearts and stars? Even when bosses attack, you can see small stars that kirby can spit right back.. it could have to do with that? Sectonia and marx has hearts.. the novas have hearts. The love-love stick has hearts and the heart spears! The starship has stars, the triple star has stars, and in blowout blast, these stars make dedede go big! It's a very interesting topic indeed! Actually it says they are magical items! In the instruction manual in kirby's dream land, the "dream lander's" use these stars to work and gather food. Hey, maybe even dark nebula was given form of the star shape by the memory of the sparkling stars! Or it could be based off the dimensional rifts? Well i don't know.. dark nebula had alot we don't know too well about. Another thing that is interesting.. is that dark nebula also came from a forgotten chest.
Thanks for the support. c(^u^c) . @Chinyere Udeh , when I said that the theory was about the Kirakiraboshi and the stars from Milky Way Wishes being meant to be the same item was because it is unknown if they are the same item or not (they could be). I also refered to Twinkle Star as a translation for Kirakiraboshi because in Kirby's Dream Land American box, Kirakiraboshi was translated as Twinkle Star. In other media, they were translated as Sparkling Star.

I recently came up with a theory that Gooey was a reincarnated version of Dream Land 2's Dark Matter, reborn into a more friendly form due to the Rainbow Sword and/or Kirby's influence...but then I discovered that Gooey actually cameos in Dream Land 2 itself, so there goes that.
I do think this would make a neat story, though.

Nooooooo I had a really good Kirby theory but then I forgot it!
Edit: Ok, I remembered! So basically I have an idea as to why dream friends like Marx and Dark Meta knight are helping you. When the jamba heart shattered, you see a ton of dark hearts scattering and possessing/corrupting characters like dedede and meta knight, while a good heart lands on Kirby and gives him the ability to throw friend hearts. Well the thing is, that wasn't the only one, as you can see more pink ones falling from the sky along with the purple ones, so when *those* hearts landed, they did the opposite to the dream friends and made them want to help Kirby, though some of them didn't really need convincing anyway. You don't see anything like that happen with Kirby himself because he was already gonna do something (if he even woke up,) and he is already the pure embodiment of positivity. It didn't change his demeanor at all, only gave him the power to spread his happiness to others. That's also why you don't need to use a friend heart on dream friends, despite needing to on dedede and especially meta knight, two characters who should be more than willing to assist. The other dream friends didn't have any initial contact with the dark hearts, and any they might've had afterwards didn't affect them. And little bonus thought: Maybe the reason we had to wait to get them was because they were kinda far away from Kirby when they first came into contact with the friend hearts?
Good theory! I believe three other hearts (aside from the one that hit Kirby) scattered across the universe in the intro so it's definitely plausible! Although, while their motives kind of contradict this, it could be that the Friend Hearts did not have that considerable of an effect considering their backgrounds. Or it could be they still had free will, which is why their intentions are the way they are, but the Friend Hearts caused them to be more friendly and loving and what not towards Kirby and his friends. I think the latter is more likely.
What I wonder is why nobody took into possibility that the *butterfly* could have been hit by a the third heart that went flying in the intro. Notice how when the butterfly absorbs Galacta Knight, the heart symbol appears around it. This only happens when a Friend Action occurs! As far as we know, only Kirby and friends were able to do this thanks to the Friend Hearts, and Hyness likely because of the power of the Dark Hearts (or just the Jamba Heart...I dunno know; but the fact they are apart of the Jambastion religion doesn't make this seem illogical). Moreover, Morpho Knight is the butterfly and Galacta Knight merged, with the butterfly taking Galacta Knight's power (and body) and making it his own. So this could be seen as a Friend Action of sorts where two people join powers. We also know that GK is one of the four heroes and can make Heart Spears (which is where the Friend Hearts originated from) so nothing so far is contradicting this.
We also know multiple Friend Hearts other than the ones we saw in the intro were released from the shattered Heart Spears (120 to be exact) and they fell into Another Dimension. How they got there exactly is quite strange, and the order of events is a bit confusing. However, Galacta Knight shows us new Heart Spears can be made, so the Heart Spears we see in HiAD and the main game could possibly different, which is why we see the Friend Hearts (from the Heart Spears that shattered in the main game) and the Heart Spears (possibly new ones) in HiAD. And as for how they got there, well, that's the only unclear part behind my thinking. If you have any ideas as to how they may have traveled there, I'd be open to here them
This was great! I got a little excited when I found out you got KimiOmega to do the animations. I actually got a theory you can check you, what if Kirby can sense evil? Most of the antagonists he killed are beings of pure, or completely corrupted darkness like Dark Mattter, Nightmare or Queen Sectonia. Any other villain like King Dedede, Daroach, Taranza, The Mage Sisters, etc. was spared due to none of them having truly evil intentions.
While Claycia's connection to Drawcia/Paintra/Vividra is fairly dubious, there was one thing that stood out to me in the game; the 8th page of the Diary.

Now this could very well just be referring to their friendship, but I think this is supposed to imply that Claycia and Elline come as a set; the former makes objects from clay by molding it while Elline breathes life into them by painting it. Considering this fact, while assuming that they were created by the Ancients, would that mean they were designed to create matter? They're capable of transmogrifying existing entities (Kirby's Tank/Sub/Rocket forms), create life (the Cottas were the first things they made together in Seventopia), and even create worlds (Seventopia itself). Perhaps they were made as a kind of sentient production facility, being able to create soldiers, modify them, and even create new worlds in case old ones get destroyed. Then whenever the Ancients fell into obscurity, Elline and Claycia without a purpose decided to make their own world to exist in.
Obviously there are a bunch of gaps here, but that's what came to mind.

I have a theory: what if Kirby has manifested his power to make friends before.
The first indication of this would be in KDL3, when Kirby helps people they express their gratitude in the form of Heart Star, which are very similar in concept and behavior to the friendship hearts in KSA (since they both come from and convey good feelings , as well as being harmful towards beings of darkness like Zero or Void).
Following this line, this may explain why Gooey became friends with Kirby. He could have been a Dark Matter (perhaps being the same one from KDL2) which when fighting Kirby was consumed by Kirby’s positive energy causing all traces of darkness to vanish and also giving abilities like Kirby. This would also explain why he is so disoriented about things as shown in KSA, as his body and mind are not used to positive energy.
This may also explain why the Dark Meta Knight became a friend of Kirby, when fighting against him, the influence of Dark Mind could have been eliminated thanks to these positive energy (although the only way that this is possible is that Kirby and Dark Meta Knight have canonically clashed in KTD).
Edit: something I didn't take into account when making this theory is that Gooey also appears on KDL2 (thank you Chinyere Udeh for the information). I do not know how canonical we can consider his appearance in this game, but if it turns out that it is, the only way I can think of to maintain concordance is that Kirby has faced a Dark Matter before the events of KDL2 and that by the positive energy has been transformed into Gooey (same for Blob).
I don't know if you know, but Gooey was present in KDL2. He's a secret friend you rescue from one of the bags, so while he is a Dark Matter, he is not the one we fight in KDL2. There is also Blob (this is just a common name from the fans I believe) who was also trapped in a bag in KDL2. Just like Gooey, she makes an appearance in DL3, although no one knows for sure if she is canon character or not since her appearance was more cameo than anything else.
However, I think your theory holds up regardless! Just a few revisions would make it work for sure
Another thing to consider is how DDD goes from feeling animosity towards Kirby in K64 but is drawn to help him anyways. Later, in RtDL he helps Kirby with no hesitation, which may indicate that simply being around Kirby has had a positive effect on him.
@@hypernova0332 I think that's just a character development thing. You spend a few years around a nice, helpful person and you eventually become friends with them - or at least don't hate them anymore.
How is that so different from the OP's theory on how Kirby befriended Gooey? Essentially every character in the series has been affected by Kirby's positivity and I can't believe that DDD is an exception - especially considering how many times Kirby has saved him from the embodiment of negativity itself.
What I'm getting to is that friend hearts and Kirby's kind nature are one in the same. But that's just my take
@@hypernova0332 Yeah, I believe @syweb2 was taking that as a natural occurrence that had to do with Kirby's nice attitude rather than that being an influence from Friend Hearts and positive energy. Not really different, but it is a distinction that should be made clear so as not to confuse the two.
(Edit: For me personally, I should make this clear, I feel like in general the two things--- positive energy/Friend Hearts and an extremely friendly influence --- are not the same thing as you believe, although the possibility of Kirby being an exception to that is something to consider for sure)
However, I personally agree with you on your take. Although I don't think it is necessarily the Friend Hearts that make this happen, I think that same *heart energy* that makes the Friend Hearts, the Heart Spears, and is possibly the substance/energy of the Heart Matter, is having some sort of influence on others

"There's nothing contradicting this". So it can be considered a legit Theory. That's one thing that always bugs me about MatPat, when ever people point out contradiction he uses "it's just a theory" as a defense, but a Theory has to be able to explain all counterpoints. If there flaws that can't be explained away in any fashion, then it's not a Theory.
Exactly. I was so frustrated at his Kirby theory a few years ago because he ignored the lore that had just surfaced that spelled out how Kirby was created and why he is a being of light.

Standard enemies do not exist in the plot, their existence is just to provide a challenge in the stages for the player to overcome. Kirby did not cause a genocide during Kirby Squeak Squad, he just defeated measly gameplay enemies in the stages that are like wild animals in the world, like he always does in his other games. Kirby only went on a quest for cake _once_ opposed to the other times Kirby defeats loads of enemies on his heroic journeys just like other video game characters kill a bunch of enemies in their quests. The only thing BS Kirby did in that game was attack King Dedede with no proof of him doing anything wrong, which turned out to be inconsequential because they are comparable to each other in combat. Kirby even lost a cake to help another person one time: ua-cam.com/video/MuhLDoNobPw/v-deo.html, so it is very clear food is not all he cares about.
Kirby didn't defeat Dark Nebula because his cake was stolen, the adventure was about finding the cake but Kirby also wanted to fight a villain that suddenly appeared near the end of the game. Dark Nebula's prison was a chest that Kirby thought contained his cake, and once he saw Daroach get possessed, Kirby had an additional goal to investigate the problem: ua-cam.com/video/G8kO0uJy4aI/v-deo.html. The location of Kirby's cake was completely unknown on a galactic scale at that point in the game, so the only thing he could've done was follow Daroach to check out what was wrong, which might have led to his cake. Kirby had no reason to defeat Dark Nebula after Daroach was beaten: ua-cam.com/video/G8kO0uJy4aI/v-deo.html if all he cared about was finding his cake. Kirby gave up searching for his cake after the battle was finished and he had saved the galaxy: ua-cam.com/video/G8kO0uJy4aI/v-deo.html. In many other games, Kirby always heroically takes the initiative to stop napping near a tree and investigate a major problem.
That debunks the whole theory, and don't even get me started on how smart Kirby of the Stars characters are, more specifically the protagonist, is pathetically downplayed even by supporters of the series.
Sure but you can have two theories that, while nothing contradicts them individually, they contradict each other. So what do you say in that situation when someone thinks their theory is more correct than the other one?
@@Yipper64 Like how we have multiple ideas on how quantum mechanics works, from the "Many Worlds Interpretation to" to "Pilot Wave Theory"? Some even argue it should be called the "Many Worlds Theory".
@@jongyon7192p my point was that many people get awfully protective of their headcanons and will endlessly pick holes in theories that others have even if their own theories are just as filled with holes. Saying "its just a theory" isn't wrong in any way, its not that big a deal.

I never truly had a head canon for the living paintings but i feel like your explanation of it makes a lot more sense than anything I could have came up with.

Here is a theory I got lingering in my head.
Could there be other Nightmares from other planets? In Milky Way Wishes, there are other planets with there own Fountain of Dreams though not sure if there is enough evidence or things to take from this theory for a video since this idea was never explored in any of the games and the only Nightmare we ever see was in Kirby's Adventure/Nightmare in Dreamland and in Super Kirby Clash with Parallel Nightmare who is just a parallel version of the Nightmare we know. Still, just a though I had.

I can’t remember where I heard this theory from, and I didn’t believe it much at first, until Super Kirby Clash.
Hyness is one of the four heroes that sealed Void Termina.
Possible evidence
1. Hyness uses an attack in Star Allies that looks really similar to Galacta Knight’s Heart Spear attack in Super Kirby Clash, so maybe one of them learned it from the other?
2. In Star Allies, Hyness is one of the few characters that uses a friend ability without being befriended by Kirby*, he does a friend circle with the Mage Sisters in the Hyness boss fight (and the logs with Corrupted Hyness). Also the thing where Hyness hides behind the Mage Sisters seems to be some kind of friend ability because there seems to be heart particles**, and heart particles in Star Allies seem to indicate things related to the Heart Spears.
* There could be other explanations for why Hyness can use friend abilities, like it could be because Hyness was corrupted by the Jamba Heart, considering Void Termina’s 4th phase can turn your friends against you, but some counter-explanations for why Void Termina can do that could be that Void Termina could have absorbed power from the Heart Spears, because they were in the Jamba Heart for so long, or if this theory is right, Void Termina could have gotten abilities like that from absorbing Hyness’s powers.

3. In Guest Star mode, when Hyness is seemingly trying to open a portal to Another Dimension (which leads to the events of Heroes in Another Dimension when he’s successful), it seems odd to me that when he’s interrupted, Galacta Knight gets summoned, and unlike every other time he was summoned, where Nova, Star Dream, and now also Parallel Nightmare, just summon him to fight while they watch, Hyness just fights whoever interrupts him himself, instead of waiting for Galacta Knight to show up and destroy them, seemingly implying that Galacta Knight was summoned by accident. I feel like there has to be a connection between them for this to happen, how else could he have summoned an ancient hero, that sealed away the god he was trying to revive, by accident.
4. Hyness can use some of the most powerful magic we have ever seen in the Kirby series. He can use all three types of elemental magic that the Mage Sisters use, and it seems like he is even more powerful than they are with each type, even though they specialize in their types of elemental magic, and they have weapons. He can also use another type of magic, which seems to be some dark type of magic. At the start of the second phase of his boss fight, he summons the Mage Sisters, which may not seem too impressive at first, but he does it instantly, and it was after he sent two of them across the galaxy to look for pieces of the Jamba Heart, and after you launch them into space at the end of their boss fights, so Hyness easily summons them when he doesn’t even know where they are, and they are who knows how far away!
Things that are only partially related:
1. It seems that HAL was hinting towards Galacta Knight being one of the heroes in Star Allies
A. There is a heart particle when the butterfly lands on his lance.
B. Morpho Knight’s defeat animation having a lot of butterfly particles and heart particles
C. Morpho Knight being the only boss besides Void Termina that can turn your friends against you.
2.Hyness being one of the four heroes would fit into my theory that the four heroes will match the four roles in the Kirby Clash games.

Sorry to burst your bubble, I mean i like where you were going with this but I don't think hyness was one of the heroes of yore. As why would hyness seal his very own god away he loved and valued for back then? It doesn't make sense. Hyness is seen to be more of the hero who stopped galacta knight or well the "galactic crises". Also the friend abilities are a bit of a different topic? @@somenantandugamer8767 no he did, the producers actually state that hyness one day woke up from a dream of god talking to him, he assumed it to had been void termina. Where he then began worshipping it, not in a bad way but with genuine love and care for him, the ancients then, would seal void termina out of fear. Perhaps fear of the unknown. As magic ancients and science ancients don't mix very well in terms of beliefs, even in real life. What's interesting is that dark nebula. A form of dark matter was also sealed away in a forgotten chest and has the same attack's as hyness. Hyness did say he was a master of matter most dark! The theory goes on in my dark matter video.. Anyways point and case, the next thing that occurred after sealing away void termina was the galactic crises, which hyness, may have been the one to have sealed away galacta knight. As he says he was the one to stop it. To provide more evidence to that claim, is that in guest star, he summons galacta knight. As when he entered another dimension, it says it as, an accident. Knowing how much hyness wanted revenge and loosing his heart after being sealed away himself, after sealing away galacta knight. Hyness would bring the thing they too feared. Galacta knight.
@@scorpionc31c54 I think you have order confused. As I understand it, they sealed Hyness away after he began worshiping Void Termina, and by that point VT was already sealed, possibly by Hyness. What's the source for what the producers supposedly said?
Were Yin-Yarn's knitting needles also made by the ancients? They were also sentient and had the power to change Dream Land into different materials like the paintbrush.
Theory: Dark Matter works as a hive mind
Point 1- first, it would make sense that the first time we see any form of dark matter it is alone. Implying that dark matter sends in scouts to take planets. The most logical reason the dark matter warrior doesn’t leave would be its already contacted Zero. (This is loose evidence I know)
Point 2- the Zero and Zero 2 problem from my point of view these are two different people and it would make most sense with the hive mind theory. With this theory it means that once Zero died, a dark matter below it became the new leader hence Zero 2 as its name. In pop culture when a leader of a hive mind is killed it is reborn except with attributes of the new leader and new attributes that make it stronger.
Point 3- just look at how the dark matter acts in Crystal Shards
one of the more mysterious characters definetly are the paint sisters I hope we can get more lore on them in the "next phase" of kirby
What if Droppy (the little yellow enemy from Amazing Mirror that steals copy abilities) was a form of Dark Matter? It's a long shot based on the fact that it can use copy abilities like other Dark Matters (Gooey, Miracle Matter). It also turns pink like Kirby when it copies an ability and Kirby is speculated to be a positive spawn of void so maybe theres a connection? Probably not but it's interesting to think about.

... Ok, forget what I implied about Ado's connection with the sisters, perhaps the _Magic Paintbrush itself,_ being a sentient artist, made the sisters in a show of creativity. It would explain the regret as well, knowing that they were also used by Drawcia to curse Dream Land and Kirby, thus motivating them to help make things right after, and leave a final rainbow as a gift/promise. Of course, that still leaves the Ancients behind it if they first made the Brush.

Theory:
Shiver star was attacked by dark matter swordsman when the haltmann works company was still there. That’s how Star dream got dark matter swordsmans data without being able to copy its true form due to swordsman not showing it when he was shiver star. After haltmann left the planet swordsman realised there was nothing worth possessing or controlling so he sent the information to zero and left. This is why in zero two’s description it’s said “it rarely shows any trouble in the clouds of shiver star”. Although the only thing that hurts this theory is that there’s no evidence of dark matter anywhere in shiver star besides zero two’s description. Swordsman also left dark matter and gained independence before he noticed pop star and got jealous of dreamlands happiness. Plus I got no idea how swordsman would remember the rainbow sword if he’s a clone from before he destroyed the rainbow bridges.

Theory:
One question I've had is why do we see Shadow Kirby in Star Allies? And why did the Amazing Mirror corrupt Sectonia, even though Dark Mind was defeated? In the video you made about the Mirror, you suggested that possibly Dark Mind had corrupted the Mirror beyond saving, and went into a kinda philosophical angle that "the pain of the past still lingers" and stuff like that. Although frankly I think there's a much simpler explanation; Shadow Kirby sucks at his job.
We can see in Triple Deluxe that Dark Meta Knight is (somehow) still alive in the Mirror. And in Star Allies there's an easter egg were you can see Shadow Kirb flying past Jambastion. What does this all mean? Hear me out..
So basically, through means unknown, Dark Meta Knight was revived inside the Mirror, and likely went on a revenge-fueled rampage across the Mirror World. Shadow Kirby, being the opposite of the Kirby we know, hightailed it outta there, even straight up ditching the Mirror altogether, leaving nobody to protect it, letting Dark Meta Knight have free reign, and allowing Taranza to claim it and gift it to Sectonia, and we all know how that went down. So eventually Dedede swoops in, beats Dark M.K., and goes one step further by shattering the Mirror. Problem solved, but that would also mean Shadow Kirby is stranded in the real world, hence why we see him flying past Jambastion in Star Allies.
Makes sense to me.

I know stuff gets lost in yt comments so i think ill put my kirby theory here again in hopes of it becoming a video. My theory is that kirby's "hero heart" as seen in kirby mass attack, is the reason that Kirby isn't like void termina or dark matter or whoever else. This would also mean that the reason he's not evil is because you, the player, are there to guide his actions.

This isn’t really a theory much as it is an idea, but my idea was that originally, void termina was a peaceful being until it was corrupted by none other than Nightmare. After Void Termina was sealed away, he went on to corrupt Galacta Knight, and allowed Dark Matter to seep from Void Termina’s dimension into the main one. His warrior Galacta Knight was sealed away by Hyness, so in retaliation he corrupted Hyness and influenced him to free Void Termina. He attacks the fountain of dreams because it was the creation of one of the four heroes. Finally, when nightmare returns in that free to play game on the switch (I can never remember the name) it’s because he’s upset that Kirby ruined his ultimate plan to release void Termina on an unsuspecting universe, so he takes matters into his own hands.
Issue:That Nightmare is not the same one from adventure.

What if the crystal that Ribbon used to get to Popstar was originaly made by the ancients. It uses star shaped portals like the Lor Starcutter, a creation of the ancients, it can be used as a weapon like the Star Rod, another creation of thr ancients, and it can be used to purify things like the Star Rod (the Star Rod drew Nightmare out of the Fountain of Dreams and the crystal drew Dark Matter out of the Fairy Queen).
Yep! I was kinda thinking the same thing. Judging by everything the ancients have made so far in the kirby universe, I wouldn't be surprised. I mean someone had to test the capabilities of the crystal shards to know it was dark matters weakness after all. This could even go along with most of the other artifacts that we've seen in the kirby games. The ancients also could've inhabited the great cave offensive at some point. That place was said to be ancient and also has ancient replicas of the magical paintbrush and the triple star. It's even where kirby got his phone from. Also judging by the fact theres a computer virus that can form to a great dragon? Based off landia? Computer virus also being Another robotic of sorts? Like all the other planets the ancients may have been? What it may be alluding to, is that the ancient artifacts we've seen has more than one. Some evidence would be how: Landia's master crown is seemingly still on its head after completely shattering. And we also know parallel landia has a master crown as well. Void termina does spawn more than one master crown after all..! We also have multiple fountains of dreams and novas..! Kirby lore is just so interesting! ❤

Did Daroach steal the Triple Star from a guardian like Landia? How long were the ancients in the cave offensive (and every other planet they've been to) and why did they leave all this stuff behind? I think the Rainbow Curse Characters were the descendants of a neighboring civilization to the Ancients, though not quite the Ancients themselves.
Also, I think Aeon Hero Light is Galacta Knight not holding back, while Aeon Hero Dark is Galacta Knight infused with Void Termina's power.
Maybe the dimension mirror is also an anchient artifact.. magic mirrors dont just appear and the manual states that the mirror could grand wishes... just like nova...and stardream. And this can also explain why soul of sectonia's moves are simulair to the other soul battles and void termina.
Thinking about it the master crown has dark matter in it. Magolor's second phase has an eye in his mouth and void summons the crown in his fight. But... if the crown has dark matter in it.. maybe all anchient artifacts have some type of dark matter in it.. most of the anchient artifacts are self aware and have powers that seem more like magic rather then science like granting wishes. And if that is true that would explain why void termina has simulair moves to that of the soul bosses considering all of them have been corrupted by anchient artifacts.

What if Dedede ordered his technology like his mask and hammer from his masked fight, Robo Dedede from Dream Course, his Kirby printer, Robo Bonkers, and the Dededestroyer Z from Nightmare Enterprises. We see he has the delivery machine in Squeak Squad and that the salesguy exists in the game in some capacity in Mass Attack. We've seen them deliver more than just monsters in the anime like the exercise equipment Max Flexer used, the laser chainsaw Dedede used to cut down Whispy Woods, and several robots. The Kirby printer even makes opponents for Kirby to fight like how Nightmare Enterprises makes monsters to fight Kirby.
I love these theories of yours! Haha! They are really good! Though if I had to assume where he got all his technology from, he either made it himself, judging by the fact he made a kirby cloning device in battle royale- or perhaps his ancestors may played a part in this. In the great cave offensive, we can find a king's Cape, very similar to dededes. Perhaps dededes ancestors may have played along with the ancients? Would make sense, especially with the hrd-3, being an ancient robot of war.

And as for Dedede making his tech, apparently the mask's origins are unknown (I saw on the wiki that this was stated on Miiverse but I can't check there now so I might be wrong on this one) and even though Dedede has the printer, I couldn't find anyone saying in the game's dialouge that he made it. Also the idea that Dedede's ancestors interacted with the ancients in some way is way cooler than it should be and it would provide a good explanation for all the stuff he has and maybe even how this guy became king in the first place.

Hey I think I'm a couple days late to this announcement on nintendo switch,
EDIT: (Okay, the announcement came out on 8/21... I'm a bit late to the party but I haven't seen anyone else comment about it...)
But with the release of a bunch of Aeon Hero concept art, they mention that his new armor is "reminiscent of his days as a champion." That's a new piece for the character, and I think a lot more new theories could be made about his past from this info alone, now that we know he is a former champion of something/someone. It also mentions that "The Aeon Hero" is his title, meaning that "Galacta Knight" truly is his name.
"He may appear again someday... In another world.
We look forward to the day we see this time-wandering character again!"
EDIT 2: Looking back at some of the concept art, it looks like Galacta Knight could have some elemental variants in the future, as some of the concept arts showed blue, red, yellow, and green variants of Aeon Hero (Light/Dark)
They definitely are hinting at a new game regardless.
I do think this information is a lot bigger than it's made out to be, as I didn't hear about it until I saw it weeks after it came out.
Another couple questions:
Why did Hyness summon Galacta Knight in specific in guest star allies go? Sure, it's a post game thing, so it doesn't matter as much but I was personally kinda confused. Hyness worships void termina, which is why he tried to summon him in the main story, but what sort of relationship would he have with Galacta Knight that would mean Hyness creating a portal just to summon him?
Something else I wondered while playing super Kirby Clash...
Why did Parallel Nightmare choose to summon Galacta Knight also? Another thing is that the portal Parallel Nightmare used, and the portal Hyness used look exactly the same (similar to how the portal Galacta Knight was summoned from Star dream look similar to the portals Magalor used in return to Dreamland)
Why is it always the bad guys (or machines that have something to do with villains) who are the ones capable of summoning Galacta Knight, especially since (in the case of both Star dream and Parallel Nightmare) they get slashed immediatley. I just find it confusing and strange.
EDIT: OKAY I THINK IVE GOT IT! Galacta Knight doesn't destroy those who challenge him, he destroys those who *summon* him!
In order of games:
One might say it was Nova who summoned Galacta - but it was meta knight who *requested* Nova to summon Galacta, thereby making meta knight the one who summoned Galacta, which is why he went to fight meta first and didn't destroy nova immediately.
In return to Dreamland, he is not summoned, but rather... Happened upon? Either way, in that case, you're the first being he sees, so he goes after you.
In Planet Robobot, meta knight/Kirby aren't the ones who request his presence. Its Star dream who summons him on its own initiative, which is why Galacta put a gash through star dream before immediately fighting the next living thing he sees.
Parallel Nightmare summoned Galacta Knight in super Kirby Clash. You don't go into that battle knowing you're going to fight him (the first time, assuming you weren't spoiled), so he destroys that which summoned him, and proceeds to fight any living thing he comes across first (you, again). When fighting Aeon Hero Light and Dark, you know who you are fighting going into it. You are the challenger, you are his first target.
Here's one I came up with that's actually probably false. What if Dedede was corrupted by Dark Matter in DL1? My only evidence really is the pause description of Star Allies. It states, "Why would he ever do such a thing?"(I can't remember it so I just wrote a rough explanation) perhaps because it wasn't him? Yeah this is a stretch.

I have a solution for the deal with Claycia. It could be that before meeting Elline that she was lonely so she sculpted them beforehand and after having Elline bring them to life
Techically, Taranza didn't brought Paintra to life. He bummed her canvas, distubing her and she emerges.
He specifically used magic on it tho, similar to how he created the other bosses(minus the frog).

Okay, so I'm not sure if theory comments are being read here but here is mine.
Nobody has really solved the noticeable references in soul bosses that contain paint attacks. My Theory is *The More Evil You Become, the More You Turn Into Dark Matter.* So Drawcia Soul, is *the closest you could be before turning into Dark Matter* This would explain how all the soul bosses are able to form into balls of paint.

Theory: a bit of a stretch, but i think Nightmare is Zero, The reason I believe this is mainly because of Dark Mind. Looking at him, its clear he is a mirror world version of both Nightmare and Zero, but how could two separate entities be one in the mirror world? Well I believe that like Dark Mind, Zero is concealed under Nightmares cloak. And one might argue that all thats under his cloak is a tornado of darkness, but Nightmare ( especially in the anime ) is depicted as being gigantic , so the swirling darkness under his cloak could be hyperzone, with Zero residing inside of it. It would make sense seeing as the only way you can hurt him is by hitting him under his cloak. But again, a bit far fetched.

Maybe Drawcia was actually painted by a god let’s say Areces from Pokémon if he did create every Nintendo universe. But whoever actually created the Kirby universe one things for sure is that Drawcia actually betrayed her gods words and actually turned Kirby’s universe in into a paint matter world while Kirby is actually turned into a ball. But what if actually the magic paint brush that guided Kirby to beat Drawcia was actually Drawcia creator. The creator of Kirby’s universe used that brush to create her and maybe Galaxy’s but then Drawcia actually went power hungry like Sectona did because she wants to help him. So she creates Paintra so she can have some friends but in actuality who knows. Anyways I think Claytha and Vivdia are for a different topic.

I have a theory:
What if Meta Knight isn’t the same species as Kirby, but instead is the species of enemies like Bio Spark and Wester? All three of them have glowing eyes, a dark body, and colorful feet. They have variations from each other (eye color, lack of arms, etc.) but variations of enemies have existed.
Also I think Galacta Knight could be included as apart of this species. That may sound off, since he’s pink, but assuming Galacta Knight and the butterfly are two halves of the same whole, creating Morpho Knight (who has a dark body), I think it could work.
I think Meta Knight being a different species from Kirby could explain why Meta Knight has not been shown to have copy abilities or float by inhaling air. Kirby and Meta Knight’s main similarity is their face and body shape, but I don’t see this as conformation they’re the same species.
Just because they don't look like Kirby does not mean they're not the same race as him it's like real life animals and even people not all of us look alike but we are the same kind of animal
