Quiet apart from being on ceremonial duty they are fully trained combat ready soldiers. The firearms carried by the infantry are loaded and yes they are trained to use their bayonets. It ain’t their job to be the first line of defence against terrorists but don't assume they would not be very active should it be needed.

The Kings Guards highly trained fighting soldiers. The beautiful horses are a pride to their efforts. The duty these men perform is one many tourists won't understand. My father was in the army and was very proud of his regiment and his country.
I think people forget these are operational soldiers, on ceremonial duties. I work in a police force and the lack of respect for us is absurd, let alone for these guys who have to be "straight faced" and can't react, smile, smirk, etc.
Not just any soldiers at that. They are the elite of the elite. It's apparently a tremendous honor to be part of the royal guard. It's similar to being the soldier that stands guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. I know an officer in the Canadian military that was invited to tea with the queen and he mentioned that the guards you do see are just a small fraction of the ones on site. Apparently if something big happens, they appear out of thin air from spots that had nowhere to hide.

Quiet apart from being on ceremonial duty they are fully trained combat ready soldiers. The firearms carried by the infantry are loaded and yes they are trained to use their bayonets.
It ain’t their job to be the first line of defence against terrorists but don't assume they would not be very active should it be needed.

When the soldier told her to leave he said that she was on camera and tic toc, so it shoes they are monitoring her movements. She really has the potential for trouble, what is in that back pack and what is her actual agenda? It certainly is not because she likes the military, police or horses. She is deliberately trying to upset them all. She constantly wants a reaction and the public are being interfered with, she's touching children and adults and that is also part of her agenda.
She is from North Yorkshire and travels to reach London.
She obviously has mental health issues and this video is a short snip of that day with multiple reprimand.

She retired early so it gives her something to do that makes her feel useful - & she certainly doesn't go shouting about it like this, she's just out busy on a Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights & goes home to sleep during the day - street angels don't sleep at night - that's when they are busy patrolling the streets!

The Kings Guards highly trained fighting soldiers. The beautiful horses are a pride to their efforts. The duty these men perform is one many tourists won't understand. My father was in the army and was very proud of his regiment and his country.
I think people forget these are operational soldiers, on ceremonial duties. I work in a police force and the lack of respect for us is absurd, let alone for these guys who have to be "straight faced" and can't react, smile, smirk, etc.
Not just any soldiers at that. They are the elite of the elite. It's apparently a tremendous honor to be part of the royal guard. It's similar to being the soldier that stands guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. I know an officer in the Canadian military that was invited to tea with the queen and he mentioned that the guards you do see are just a small fraction of the ones on site. Apparently if something big happens, they appear out of thin air from spots that had nowhere to hide.

Why do you English even tolerate this behavior? Y’all should start charging out of country fees and let the locals go in for free. Any students or minors should no longer be allowed without adult supervision. And have a database for those who need to be banned.
