If no one has told you, the bass (Geoff Castellucci) has his own channel. And he recently released a great song for Halloween: Ghostriders in the Sky. He does all the vocals (he has a 5 octave range), the arranging, filming, editing, etc. He will sometimes have someone do makeup, if it's especially elaborate. He is incredibly talented!
Voiceplay lives in Orlando Florida and all have performed shows at Universal Studios and Disney World. They are known as both The Theater Kids and Kings of Halloween because of their love of performing in their videos instead of just singing. Rains do have a few where their just singing but most they perform and dress according to the theme of the song or the set. This is from Nightmare Before Christmas movie. They also did 3 others from that movie... Kidnap The Sandy Claws. What's This? This Is Halloween. Great reaction
Wow what a background. You can tell they definitely have some theatre history in them. I love what they do when they sing. Thank you for the recommendations. I have made reactions for This is Halloween (already out) and What’s This? (Coming Sunday) I will do the another when I can hopefully fit it in 😁
Geoff Castellucci is the bass. He does "solo" work where he does all of the parts, visually and audio, alone! He is well worth investigating. Perhaps start with Ghost Riders in the Sky, or Monster Mash or the Headless Horseman, in honor of Halloween.
Super fun reaction! Subscribing for more Voiceplay and Geoff. That last note in Oogie Boogie's Song tends to break a lot of reactors when they hear it for the first time. He actually does that last part live on Tik Tok to show that there's no tricks or effects, he's just that incredible.
Geoff (the lead singer here) was originally going to go back up for that last note, but Layne (on the right with the bright nose) who arranged the song asked Geoff for a big finish - so Geoff took it sub-harmonic and blew the socks off everyone who hears it!
I love watching your expressions!! Geoff has a 5 octave range and not only can he sing really deep, but he can go high as well. I cannot wait to see more of your reactions. Geoff and Voiceplay have lots of Halloween covers on their channels. Looking forward to the next reaction! Try Geoff's Monster Mash.
I loved your reaction to this video. Your face when Geoff hit that in low note at the end said it all! I love these guys and hope you continue to explore their work.
Such a fun reaction. 😁 Some of the older videos have members that are no longer play part of Voiceplay for various reasons. Earl. (v high pitch character voice) became ill and left I think to prioritise his health. J. None is in the US navy at the moment... But Geoff, Eli and Layne are the the back bone of the group and Cesar joined after J. None left... So new videos will show them... Looking forward to the rest of the week. 🙂❤️🇬🇧👍
Geoff has a 5 octave range. Actually all of the members of VoicePlay have really good extended ranges. Eli (like jelly) the bald high tenor, can sing bass, Cesar (newest member but not in this) is a baritone but in Dream On he sings the very high G# that was Aerosmith's Steven Tyler's claim to fame in this song. Both Earl (one of the originals) and J None are doing the character voices as is Eli in this. VoicePlay lost Earl after a medical scare while on tour and J None got recruited into the US Navy. He did come back on leave and take the lead in Friends on the Other Side (great one for Halloween). I recommend it highly!
This is the first VoicePlay video I saw after I discovered Geoff Castellucci's cover of Sixteen Tons. Geoff is the lead singer, he's mister Oogie Boogie. #TheatreKidsOfACappella. FYI Sandy Claw is Geoff's brother-in-law.
Love it Demi ! Thanks for taking the time to watch this. I know it’s not your type of genre but yes, such talented type of people and it does get better I won’t lie. Thank you. You too 😁
A few things! First, I think it's awesome that you respond to many of the posts here, like you did to mine last time. Thanks for doing more Voiceplay, and the reaction you had to the last note Geoff did was the correct reaction. I look forward as you explore more Voiceplay. I am just guessing that I am probably one older subscribers, since I am approaching retirement in a few years, so I have been watching your channel to find out what good new music is out there. While I might not like all the music, I do enjoy your reactions. So, please keep me current in the music scene! And keep reacting to Voiceplay! Halloween is kind of their thing.
I appreciate and I try my best. There’s a lot of comments but I know I can’t reply to everyone. I have a few older subscribers which is nice and oh wow well it’s mostly independent artists and a couple of international artists I react to. Welcome to the family and yes this week will show a bit of both 😁
Great reaction! The faces you made were pure gold! Definitely don't miss out on "Friends on the Other Side" feat J None for Halloween week. It was done after J left to join the navy but he came back when he finished basic and they did that one. It's a really good one!
So this is the song that got you into Voiceplay and Geoff. Good one! I stumbled upon your channel recently and am now subscribed xD I look forward to more reactions. Love your energy!
@@KaireemReactions They are amazing. Geoff has a great voice high, mid and low, Eli with his rock notes, Layne with his amazing beatboxing and when he gets to sing, he sounds great too, Of course Cesar with his theatrical (well they all are) and sassy performance and the voice of an angel and let's not forget J None, oh boy. This group just aces it every time! My first one of them and which got me to Geoff's solo channel was Valhalla Calling :)
Geoff Castellucci, the bass has his own channel where he sings solo. Alot of awesome songs there. Including some Halloween videos. Welcome to the Voiceplay rabbit hole. Another great channel to check out is Pattycake Productions. Owned by Layne, the beatboxer and Tony, a former member. All their videos are original to them. My favorites are.. Bump In The Night. Villains Haunted Mansion. The Villains Lair series. This is the animated Disney movie villains trying to get revenge on the princesses. At present they're at season 2 episode 4. All by actors and actresses. All are Disney themed in some way. Most are Halloween related. Especially Bump in the night. Layne and Tony write, edit, arrange, produce and directe all the videos. All are awesome.
Yes I got a few of his reactions coming soon and no what that’s amazing! I won’t be able to react to them soon but I can note this down and see what I can do 😁. Thank you for the comment
Is this the first one?! Which one did he do first?! I can't find an earlier video than this one! I got the impression from "welcome Voiceplayers, I got a boost in subs from you" that he must have done one before this to bring us over haha
Hey !!! So yes I did a previous before this which is here - ua-cam.com/video/XfFF-3oZ8cU/v-deo.html - this was my first reaction you them but what I will do at the end of the week is create a playlist for them so all voiceplay viewers can watch them over again 😁

Yes that was Geoff , most reactors have that expression when they first watch this, it was an E1 note he has a 5 Octave range
What a note 🤯🤯 literally my jaw dropped 😂. Damn .. that was low. Yes it looks like he does. I wasn’t aware but love his voice

You are going to have a LOT of fun. They are crazy good individually and together. And Geoff's range is spectacular.
Honestly his range has blown me away. Thank you 🙏🏾 this week going to be exciting
@@KaireemReactions And you haven't heard the top and bottom yet.... !!!
@@Aurora-cv5to well I thought I did but it doesn’t seem like it aha 😁
I subscribed and gave you a thumbs-up for your reaction to Geoffs' last note!

Oh was it well he definitely blew everyone mind 😂 it’s the most replayed part of the video
Geoff Castellucci also does solo videos..do check them out! :)

That final E1 blows everyone away. Geoff is a dragon slayer lol definitely subscribed
Yes, that's the look we see on people hearing this for first time. He is amazing isn't he? :)
I loved your reaction to this video. Your face when Geoff hit that in low note at the end said it all! I love these guys and hope you continue to explore their work.
I will do just finding the right time for it all thank you 😊
Well that was different, pretty cool, great vocals 👍🇺🇸⚜️🔥🔥🔥
Yeah definitely 😁. I appreciate you taking your time to watch this . I know it’s it everyone cup of tea but they are really great
THAT'S the "Geoff Face" I live for seeing people making! Great reaction!
I honestly was not expecting it and it was an honest/genuine reaction 😅. Thank you
@@KaireemReactions Oh I believe you! I've seen reacters question the nature of reality after that note! LOL
This made my day! You make the best expressive faces and as a VoicePlay fan I was double-delighted. And Halloween week? I’m here for it!
