Super grateful you took the time to put this together! These rhythms helped me put some things together and improve my drumming. Not to mention I just really enjoy listing to you play.
I’m new as a leader to the drum circle . I created one for our community and we average 8-15 people each time. Your video has been a lifesaver. I usually start with one of your rhythm and suggest the group can play along and even add layers with other percussions as well.
Because many who come to Drum circles are total beginners and have enough difficulties maintaining the basic groove, so we use slaps only for soloing and when majority of drummers are intermediate or advance, but mostly not for drum circle rhythms.
No, these are all my creations except for the 5th rhythm (starting at 05:00) which is Nigerian rhythm called "Fanga" and popularized by Babatunde Olatunji.
Well demonstrated, clearly explained. thanks
Thank you
