When I was 7, the school janitor would pay a quarter if you helped him wipe down the tables after lunch. I loved to help and get that quarter! But one day, when I approached him, and he said no because he had enough helpers. Once he turned away, I punched him in the back and ran.
I'll never forgive myself for being the kid who punched the janitor.
