In regards to the Alohomora minigame, I feel like since there's 3 levels of Alohomora, that you can unlock through the quest with Mr. Moon, that once you reach Alohomora level 2 that all level 1 locks should automatically unlock once you use Alohomora on them; and then level 2 locks should do the same once you unlock Alohomora Level 3. I feel like that just makes sense, because as your proficiency in Alohomora increases then you ability to unlock locks that have a more simple anti-Alohomora charm cast upon them should increase as well to the point that unlocking it is as simple as just waving your wand and saying the word.
Regarding the guard system at night. I really think it was a missed opportunity to have you sneak around at night at the beginning of the game but some where early on be given a side mission that results in you becoming a prefect (hogwarts students can become one as early as their fifth year) and that gives you permission to be out after hours. You could even give players a special prefect robe to wear in order to roam freely at night (more immersive than a toggle in the settings).
I was flying to a destination when I came across a merchant standing above the water near a cliff side. He’s still there even right now. I call him “The Buggy Merchant”.
I only had one minor issue-my broom vanished but restart helped. Regarding the removed curfew, I’m glad they removed it because searching for those demiguise statues would be a major pain. On the other hand, from lore perspective the curfew makes sense. it could be a nice-to-have option to toggle.
It would be cool if curfew was a mechanic in game but you can still explore. But staff would be roaming the halls from time to time so you'd have to go invisible if you wanted the demiguise statues, etc. in the school
Issue I’ve had was not getting the next story quest even at level 30. Spammed side quests and still nothing. Fix - read all new owls and you should get it
If you happen to come upon a bandit camp with a very large metal cage in the middle with an alohomora lock, DON'T OPEN IT. That cage is tied to a future side quest to rescue a Mooncalf named Biscuit. If you unlock the lock before getting the quest, the cage with respawn but NOT the lock so you're screwed. Hopefully this gets fixed soon
With this latest update, my computer was able to jump an ENTIRE quality level. To get smooth gameplay before, I had to set everything to low. Now, I can play on full medium settings, still using FSR2 ofc, but it's actually smooth now! So nice! GTX1080, i5-8600k, 32gb ram, 1440p Ultrawide
My lights went off for a second while I was playing the game. I'm 25 hours in and after I restarted the pc and tried to get into the game Me and my boyfriend lost our characters. The game just started as if it was brand new. I almost cried man. Thankfully my boyfriend found a solution online and fixed it. Other wise I would've been livid.
I’m very confident for the future of this game. I sincerely hope they keep adding more content, spells and quests in the future. I know it has its negatives, but it has so many positives as far as the game goes. I’m on my second play through and enjoying it just as much. Maybe add some more elements to combat
Figs head keeps breaking in cutscenes, had people's eyes debug with the blocks of colors, first visit to the village had quite a few twins talking together
I had a major issue which would load my character and say "out of bounds" but I wasn’t and indefinitely put me in a black screen. If that happens to you just reload a previous save file.

That's why I make multiple save files... I have lost a save file to the stuck bug, but I had a spare save with only 30 minutes of difference. Backup matters, folks 😊
i got stuck once you can't access a broom a mount or a map or even go to main setting options luckily there was an enemy nearby i just attacked it and let it kill me

Here is my thoughts on the curfew thing. If people want it, we should get the choice at the starting screen, or in the settings options to have that turned on. Otherwise have it as normal. The restricted section, for instance, isn't really all that restricted and breaks the immersion of the world. This game is still a 10/10 for me.
I could handle 1 or two prefects per area on a strolling pattern. Too many like that initial demigouge hunt would be super annoying after awhile when trying to get things like field pages and shit. Have enough for immersion but not enough to really impact gameplay.

They originally had the idea and then scrapped it because of their own reasons. By discrediting the idea you are pretty much saying "I don't care what other people want, I only care what I want." Isn't that what you were saying when you say "get a grip and realize they can't have everything"? Seems to me that you are trying to make a point then throwing it away. A simple toggle for the feature isn't hard. It would set a time during the game when Prefects and teachers would be in the halls on watch for students. Simple programming, which ironically they already have, that can be put into the game. A DLC takes time and resources that they are already using right now to keep the patches and potential DLC content going. Perhaps you should stop and think about something before you start making deceleration on what YOU want and think of the community as a whole. Hence the reason I said making it an OPTION to have it in the game.

The game is Superb , but still can be improved especially in the PC performance side. From an AMD GPU user it really tank in areas like Hogsmead and Stairs in Hogwarts even doing the optimization found Online. DLCs I want to be added are - Dragon Mount and Breeding.Another area for Breeding Magical Creatures. - Azkaban, and the role will depends with the use of Unforgivable curses. If you master all and used it then you'll be investigated be involved in some escape missions and if not you'll be involve in detective missions. - London and Gringotts map and missions - Quidditch - Triwizard Tournament (Offline/ online) between players or NPC but timeline of the story conflict - Exploration of other Wizarding schools
I have 2 pc's that are basically the same but 1 has a nvidia gpu and 1 has an amd gpu. Other games theres a ~5fps difference. In hogwarts legacy the nvidia lags sometimes, amd hasnt had a single lag, stutter or bug (after switching from fsr2 to fsr1, after 15min of gameplay). The game has been played for abt 30hrs on both systems.
The following would take this game from very good to great: - Light / Dark Meter that actually affects your story - Random encounters on the road (Like RDRs) - Outfit Slots (To quick change for different scenarios) - Quidditch (Duh) - The wand should choose the wizard and not the other way around
My wand chose me. it is the same wand I got in the wizarding world page years ago. different is the skins who there are also in lore as we know from Rowling's lore how so many wizards have customized their wands and are aligned them.
If you do get stuck on an object, try to reset a mission from a last checkpoint or fast traveling. Furthermore, on Xbox Series S I had the issue where I couldn't save and was about to lose 2 hours of gameplay - suspended the game, and restarted my Xbox - immediately relaunched and saved my game with no memory/gameplay loss. I found a potential issue: They allocated too less storage space for Steam Cloud. In Steam in the game properties where you can add command-line arguments it shows for Steam Cloud: 93.32 MB stored / 2.05 MB available I only have one character, I have always used all save slots of the one character, but the size of each individual save game file increases while the amount of save game files stays constant. I have noticed the amount of available Steam Cloud space is constantly decreasing, starting with about 75 MB used with all save slots used for that one character, to the number above. I don’t know but I doubt that the amount of total max allocated storage is dynamically increasing. In other words they choose a wrong number. The max amount for Steam Cloud space per user is varies between games. For example Garrys Mod uses 94 KB of 1000 MB. Some games show x used of max 0, which could mean unlimited or means nothing, but still working. So it could still work even after using that all up, Idk 🤷♂️ yet. Would be testable when replacing a file with a 3 MB bigger one ( in my case ). Locally it would work anyways, just cloud could be affected. (* of course it is normal that individual save file sizes increase, e.g. changes in world can add up, or even bigger inventory numbers; potential issue just is the max cloud allocation number, which could lead to the cloud not working anymore when full, could. A simple update could increase it to e.g. 1GB and done.)
I am on PS5 and I got a message last night that said " Game files are corrupted, delete your game and re-download the game." I promptly ignored that and restarted the game and everything was fine. I haven't played yet today.

I read the comments under the video and I don’t understand what update people are talking about, because if you open the Hogwarts Legacy update history in the steam store, the history there will be empty at the moment. I had my Owl Mail stop alerting me to it and no longer letting me hear it altogether sometime around the switch to Christmas. Wasn’t game breaking but I wasn’t sure if it was just me or not. I’m gonna submit a bug report on it to be safe.
Sometimes when the game sticks, you can’t open up the settings menu or map (for saves or fast travel). That’s the first thing we all tried 😅 Can’t fly, roll or jump either.
If your stuck floating just wait and youll reapear a little bit above, so just spam dodge and youll get out of it no need for loading a previous auto save
I got stuck on some stairs last night and could not get unstuck, I just fast traveled and it fixed the issue. Thankfully I did not have to start over. I am on PS5
I did have a certain main quest bug out for me on PS5. After you talk to an npc, you're supposed to meet him outside of town but he just stays where he is and nothing i've tried could get the game to right itself. I've seen a few others with the same exact issue and haven't seen a fix for it yet.
The game literally auto saves every couple of minutes. Just reload the most recent save file, which is usually a min or two behind your current file. It happened to me once.
That would suck so bad to have save files wiped. I always upload my save files to the cloud when I turn my ps5 off especially if a game just released and has issues. I'm 60hrs in and have a long ways to go I still haven't beat the game.
In regards to getting stuck. As a long time gamer, before many of you were born I presume. I learned one important thing, keep several saves going. Everything I manually save, alternate save games so you always have 2 or 3 saves that way if one save messes up. You don't need to restart the entire game over.
I had that issue with being stuck behind a rock, couldn’t move, pause the same or cast any spells (other than revelio). I fixed by closing the game and reopening (NOT resume game, but play game). I think that loads it from last autosave rather than resuming from last place you were.
My game is broken for 5 days (series S) After 20h it started stuttering and freezing every couple of seconds, I also can’t talk to any NPCs. I made a Reddit Post and other Xbox users (both X and S) are having this issue. A new game works fine but I don’t want to restart atm so I’m waiting for a patch
i mean it takes the challenge of finding demiguises and immersion away from the game to not have u getting in trouble for being out at night in the castle since u are told multiple times in game not to be out at night time (in those quests) but have no consequences for doing so any other time just for gameplay reasons, i mean when u unlock Alohamora he tells u best not be seen looking for them because u dont want to get caught but then as soon as the mission is finished u can go right back into the restricted section and not have anyone say anything to u about being there, honestly i do agree that it might get annoying but it does break my immersion into the game not having to sneak around at night. maybe they could implement a system where u can become a prefect at some time during the game which would allow u to freely roam the castle at nigh since prefects are allowed to do so as it is their job to report anyone sneaking around at night, that way role players (i mean it is an RPG (Role Play Game) after all) can enjoy the game to the fullest and people not wanting to sneak around dont have to (i mean the only reason u need it to be night anyway is for a mission and to find the demiguises).
HEADS UP! If you get stuck on a rock, please do not close the game. Open up to settings and reload the oldest autosave, if you do this quick enough you should be able to load before you were in the area and save you game. Btw Did they add the ability to pause the game during cut scenes? I think if I ask my girlfriend to wait during a 5 minute cutscene she might strangle me lol
If your on PC and get stuck in the loading screen or have a frozen screen, when the you Boot the game click load game and load it from an auto save file prior to getting stuck/froze. I had this happen after respawning, my character got stuck in the ground and the game was frozen with complete loss of all input controls. Hope this helps
I had this problem where I was stuck like under the floor (i loaded the last autosave - i always do manual saves on top of the autosaves) - restarted my ps5 then loaded game file from a diff autosave and it worked
A optional curfew system would be nice but as a Ravenclaw it would ultimately be pointless. I can just fly off the roof of the Ravenclaw common room. Who's gonna stop you? Coming back late? Land on the roof and walk right in. Also makes the riddle on the front door kinda pointless since anyone from any house could just land there.
Exactly. I have PS5 and I experienced an issue where was stuck in area. I just manually saved for good measure, and then manually loaded that saved data. When I got back in, It refreshed the world around me and I continued.👍 Also had an instance where I destroyed wood slabs that you can repair to make a platform, each time I destroyed and repaired them, they doubled in size. From 2x4s to wood pieces the size of a castle. Until they filled the entire game. space. Had to reboot for obvious reasons. No loss of data.
Lost my new toon level 11. I was saving so I could get a better robe before opening chest. Got a blue screen, hit send report, and loade in and my character was gone

The rock sticking happened to me on xbox however it was a complete game freeze crash no wriggle or fast tavel possible. I was able to quit the game and load from the previous autosave as there is usually more than 1. The glitch only seems to corrupt the last autosave and if you die before it performs another save u will spawn into the freeze glitch. You then need to quit and repeat. Annoying but better than losing all progress. This will also work if u load using a manual save instead of continuing from autosave so its good to save often.
Are people that are getting stuck not able to quick travel with the floo network? I got into a rock jam today I just used the floo network to get out...I guess that isn't possible in all places in the game though? Save often everyone!
regarding the stuck in odd places people, it's happened to me and I just used the fast travel to fix it, the only time I see it being a problem is possibly if they're doing a story mission
If you spawn in a rock, just fast travel? If that doesn't work, the game auto saves like 5 different saves leading up to your previous save. Load one of those?
there are only 2 issues i have with the game, one was a glitch that had me fall through the map and die (thankfull it auto saved right b4 i did so) and the other is sometimes not being able to get on my broom in an area that u are allowed to fly in (which can be fixed by fast travelling)
I was playing and then half of hogwarts dissapeared and I could fly under the world and another time my character was just like 50 times bigger on the broom it was funny
Time to make multiple saves, but you can load the auto saves which are many. I have had little issues with this game. Many memory leaks which have not been too bad lately. Got smoother when I hit Autumn in game.
I noticed last night that all my deluxe content wasn’t available to use anymore and they just disappeared from my inventory after I did the side quest in hogsmead where you steal the Venomous Tentacula for the business partner. As soon as I finished it all the collection items disappeared
Regarding the issue with people getting stuck and having to make a new game, why not just go into the map and fast travel anywhere else? That should fix the issue, would it not?
I dove into the lake for treasure only to never resurface I waited and waited my guy never came back up... I just loaded up the most recent auto save and all was good

Yeah, I don’t want enforced curfew in the game. I have a rough time keeping track of time and end up roaming the school at night by accident. Getting in constant trouble would be irritating as hell. We already have the Restricted Section in the Library and the Faculty Wing for those challenges. I don’t wanna sneak the whole school. Even with upgraded sneak, you’re still slow as hell.
PC, I've had some graphical issues while playing, most commonly the autosave icon looking glitched when it pops up. Once there was a section of Hogwarts with glitched wall textures, got stuck on the roof of the Dogweed and Deathcap shop (restarting the game got me unstuck thankfully), and the most recent was falling through the map when opening a chest behind the Herbology building, though was able to quickly hop on my broom and fly back up.
I keep encountering an issue where you press locate on map and it shoots you far off the map and then you loose your cursor on all menu tabs until you close the menu and reopen it.
The quest where you have to collect the 5 flying books from the library has glitched for me on 2 separate characters, where I collect all 5 but the game only registers 3 or 4.
I make a new save every day, and there should be as many as three autosaves at any given time. The fact that people need to completely restart their game story makes me wonder if they even tried any of the auto saves. And to not have multiple manual saves, how foolish of them. It's not like multiple playthroughs share the same manual save pool or anything.

Maybe if they had a toggle option for the Curfew that way players could decide if they wanted to do the stealthy part at night or not.
The following would take this game from very good to great:
- Light / Dark Meter that actually affects your story
- Random encounters on the road (Like RDRs)
- Outfit Slots (To quick change for different scenarios)
- Quidditch (Duh)
- The wand should choose the wizard and not the other way around
The wand did choose us though, we just got the chance to customize it which I am glad for
Outfit slots are very much needed and actually realistic to be added
My wand chose me. it is the same wand I got in the wizarding world page years ago. different is the skins who there are also in lore as we know from Rowling's lore how so many wizards have customized their wands and are aligned them.
take wand and house test and stick with what it gives you.
The outfit slots would be great for rp purposes.
I would HATE a curfew in Hogwarts. It would make gameplay there extremely slow and annoying for a full half the time you're there.
If you do get stuck on an object, try to reset a mission from a last checkpoint or fast traveling.
Furthermore, on Xbox Series S I had the issue where I couldn't save and was about to lose 2 hours of gameplay - suspended the game, and restarted my Xbox - immediately relaunched and saved my game with no memory/gameplay loss.

I found a potential issue:
They allocated too less storage space for Steam Cloud.
In Steam in the game properties where you can add command-line arguments it shows for Steam Cloud:
93.32 MB stored / 2.05 MB available
I only have one character, I have always used all save slots of the one character, but the size of each individual save game file increases while the amount of save game files stays constant.
I have noticed the amount of available Steam Cloud space is constantly decreasing, starting with about 75 MB used with all save slots used for that one character, to the number above.
I don’t know but I doubt that the amount of total max allocated storage is dynamically increasing.
In other words they choose a wrong number.
The max amount for Steam Cloud space per user is varies between games.
For example Garrys Mod uses 94 KB of 1000 MB.
Some games show x used of max 0, which could mean unlimited or means nothing, but still working.
So it could still work even after using that all up, Idk 🤷♂️ yet.
Would be testable when replacing a file with a 3 MB bigger one ( in my case ).
Locally it would work anyways, just cloud could be affected.
(* of course it is normal that individual save file sizes increase, e.g. changes in world can add up, or even bigger inventory numbers;
potential issue just is the max cloud allocation number, which could lead to the cloud not working anymore when full, could. A simple update could increase it to e.g. 1GB and done.)
Updates have made my game worse every time. I didnt have a single issue and ran everything on ultra in early access. Now it stutters, freezes, etc.
the other day i was stuck in a rock restarted the game was still in rock the after 5 seconds i just floated out of it thankfully
I've gotten stuck a couple times. Once I fell into a wall, and twice I fell through the map. Using a floor flame always fixed it.
I've noticed that the body's in spider nests talk and show as enemy's

i release one of them with incendio, it was an ennemy, and he tp himself after the spider died o_o

I am on PS5 and I got a message last night that said " Game files are corrupted, delete your game and re-download the game." I promptly ignored that and restarted the game and everything was fine. I haven't played yet today.
what I want is to have a chance to sit, eat and sleep in my bed past the timt is key for my immersion and role playing and it is easy to add.

I read the comments under the video and I don’t understand what update people are talking about, because if you open the Hogwarts Legacy update history in the steam store, the history there will be empty at the moment. Perhaps the update is tied to the regional time somehow, I don’t know really)
I had my Owl Mail stop alerting me to it and no longer letting me hear it altogether sometime around the switch to Christmas. Wasn’t game breaking but I wasn’t sure if it was just me or not. I’m gonna submit a bug report on it to be safe.
Got stuck before the path of the spider boss when reloaded. All you have to do is load your previous auto save file.
Sometimes when the game sticks, you can’t open up the settings menu or map (for saves or fast travel).
That’s the first thing we all tried 😅 Can’t fly, roll or jump either.
If your stuck floating just wait and youll reapear a little bit above, so just spam dodge and youll get out of it no need for loading a previous auto save
Been noticing an annoying visual glitch on my clothing since the update. It comes and goes.
I got stuck on some stairs last night and could not get unstuck, I just fast traveled and it fixed the issue. Thankfully I did not have to start over. I am on PS5

does the memory leak have to do with the lighting issues? like the weird fog indoors that will suddenly go clear and crisp if you turn camera a bit.
I'd like to be able to turn the lockpick minigame off. Like after so many locks picked manually or getting all the demiguise statues would be fine.
I did have a certain main quest bug out for me on PS5. After you talk to an npc, you're supposed to meet him outside of town but he just stays where he is and nothing i've tried could get the game to right itself. I've seen a few others with the same exact issue and haven't seen a fix for it yet.

The game literally auto saves every couple of minutes. Just reload the most recent save file, which is usually a min or two behind your current file. It happened to me once.
That would suck so bad to have save files wiped. I always upload my save files to the cloud when I turn my ps5 off especially if a game just released and has issues. I'm 60hrs in and have a long ways to go I still haven't beat the game.
In regards to getting stuck. As a long time gamer, before many of you were born I presume. I learned one important thing, keep several saves going. Everything I manually save, alternate save games so you always have 2 or 3 saves that way if one save messes up. You don't need to restart the entire game over.
I had that issue with being stuck behind a rock, couldn’t move, pause the same or cast any spells (other than revelio).
I fixed by closing the game and reopening (NOT resume game, but play game). I think that loads it from last autosave rather than resuming from last place you were.
Always have two save files that you overwrite one after the other, you have slots for a reason

They should just attach the curfew to the difficulty slider, playing on the hardest difficulty will have it while the lower ones don’t 🤷🏾♂️
Y'know, I got stuck in a place once before the update. I just used floo powder to transport to another nearby location and problem solved.
If your character is stuck in a rock or something, go to your map screen and fast travel.
My game is broken for 5 days (series S) After 20h it started stuttering and freezing every couple of seconds, I also can’t talk to any NPCs. I made a Reddit Post and other Xbox users (both X and S) are having this issue.
A new game works fine but I don’t want to restart atm so I’m waiting for a patch
i mean it takes the challenge of finding demiguises and immersion away from the game to not have u getting in trouble for being out at night in the castle since u are told multiple times in game not to be out at night time (in those quests) but have no consequences for doing so any other time just for gameplay reasons, i mean when u unlock Alohamora he tells u best not be seen looking for them because u dont want to get caught but then as soon as the mission is finished u can go right back into the restricted section and not have anyone say anything to u about being there, honestly i do agree that it might get annoying but it does break my immersion into the game not having to sneak around at night.
maybe they could implement a system where u can become a prefect at some time during the game which would allow u to freely roam the castle at nigh since prefects are allowed to do so as it is their job to report anyone sneaking around at night, that way role players (i mean it is an RPG (Role Play Game) after all) can enjoy the game to the fullest and people not wanting to sneak around dont have to (i mean the only reason u need it to be night anyway is for a mission and to find the demiguises).

HEADS UP! If you get stuck on a rock, please do not close the game. Open up to settings and reload the oldest autosave, if you do this quick enough you should be able to load before you were in the area and save you game. Btw Did they add the ability to pause the game during cut scenes? I think if I ask my girlfriend to wait during a 5 minute cutscene she might strangle me lol

If your on PC and get stuck in the loading screen or have a frozen screen, when the you
Boot the game click load game and load it from an auto save file prior to getting stuck/froze. I had this happen after respawning, my character got stuck in the ground and the game was frozen with complete loss of all input controls. Hope this helps
I had this problem where I was stuck like under the floor (i loaded the last autosave - i always do manual saves on top of the autosaves) - restarted my ps5 then loaded game file from a diff autosave and it worked
As far as the stuck save files, that's the developers way of teaching people the importance of having multiple saves.
A optional curfew system would be nice but as a Ravenclaw it would ultimately be pointless. I can just fly off the roof of the Ravenclaw common room. Who's gonna stop you? Coming back late? Land on the roof and walk right in. Also makes the riddle on the front door kinda pointless since anyone from any house could just land there.
If you get stuck somewhere go to settings > loadfile and load one thats auto saved every couple min ..
Exactly. I have PS5 and I experienced an issue where was stuck in area. I just manually saved for good measure, and then manually loaded that saved data. When I got back in, It refreshed the world around me and I continued.👍
Also had an instance where I destroyed wood slabs that you can repair to make a platform, each time I destroyed and repaired them, they doubled in size. From 2x4s to wood pieces the size of a castle. Until they filled the entire game. space. Had to reboot for obvious reasons.
No loss of data.
Lost my new toon level 11. I was saving so I could get a better robe before opening chest. Got a blue screen, hit send report, and loade in and my character was gone
I lost like 10 hours of progress, no way to get it back. It was very disappointing. But I played it all again.
Honestly couldn't finish the video because who's ever gameplay was playing during the video was so bad I couldn't keep watching.

The rock sticking happened to me on xbox however it was a complete game freeze crash no wriggle or fast tavel possible. I was able to quit the game and load from the previous autosave as there is usually more than 1. The glitch only seems to corrupt the last autosave and if you die before it performs another save u will spawn into the freeze glitch. You then need to quit and repeat. Annoying but better than losing all progress. This will also work if u load using a manual save instead of continuing from autosave so its good to save often.
I usually just pause to menu and click to teleport when I'm stuck. Not sure if being stuck somewhere specific.
Are people that are getting stuck not able to quick travel with the floo network? I got into a rock jam today I just used the floo network to get out...I guess that isn't possible in all places in the game though? Save often everyone!
To fix being stuck all you have to do is fast travel to a different location.
regarding the stuck in odd places people, it's happened to me and I just used the fast travel to fix it, the only time I see it being a problem is possibly if they're doing a story mission
most pc games like this have an unstuck option to help with being stuck
If you spawn in a rock, just fast travel? If that doesn't work, the game auto saves like 5 different saves leading up to your previous save. Load one of those?
there are only 2 issues i have with the game, one was a glitch that had me fall through the map and die (thankfull it auto saved right b4 i did so) and the other is sometimes not being able to get on my broom in an area that u are allowed to fly in (which can be fixed by fast travelling)
I was playing and then half of hogwarts dissapeared and I could fly under the world and another time my character was just like 50 times bigger on the broom it was funny

Time to make multiple saves, but you can load the auto saves which are many. I have had little issues with this game. Many memory leaks which have not been too bad lately. Got smoother when I hit Autumn in game.
I noticed last night that all my deluxe content wasn’t available to use anymore and they just disappeared from my inventory after I did the side quest in hogsmead where you steal the Venomous Tentacula for the business partner. As soon as I finished it all the collection items disappeared
I loved the challenge of sneaking. Now I put points into sneak for no reason.
Any word on if the fixed the water glitch? Super disorienting and annoying when having a fight near water and the whole background is glitching.
Regarding the issue with people getting stuck and having to make a new game, why not just go into the map and fast travel anywhere else? That should fix the issue, would it not?
I dove into the lake for treasure only to never resurface I waited and waited my guy never came back up... I just loaded up the most recent auto save and all was good
The only bugs I noticed or cared about were the missions not coming up properly and the game crashing once during a fast travel, other than that it’s perfect ! On PS5
Yeah, I don’t want enforced curfew in the game. I have a rough time keeping track of time and end up roaming the school at night by accident. Getting in constant trouble would be irritating as hell. We already have the Restricted Section in the Library and the Faculty Wing for those challenges. I don’t wanna sneak the whole school. Even with upgraded sneak, you’re still slow as hell.
I’m on Ps5, I was level 30, 21hrs in… started it back up after work, when I did I was level 2 manual saves an auto saves all gone 😢
They also broke the game and now their is a trail of your character that lingers when you pan the camera left and right

My game crashed right after I got a hair cut and now whenever I try to go back the talk prompt doesn’t come up
PC, I've had some graphical issues while playing, most commonly the autosave icon looking glitched when it pops up. Once there was a section of Hogwarts with glitched wall textures, got stuck on the roof of the Dogweed and Deathcap shop (restarting the game got me unstuck thankfully), and the most recent was falling through the map when opening a chest behind the Herbology building, though was able to quickly hop on my broom and fly back up.
Missing that balloon at :58 and not going back to get it triggered my OCD.
I keep encountering an issue where you press locate on map and it shoots you far off the map and then you loose your cursor on all menu tabs until you close the menu and reopen it.
The quest where you have to collect the 5 flying books from the library has glitched for me on 2 separate characters, where I collect all 5 but the game only registers 3 or 4.
The game autosaves every few minutes. Just go back to the last one. Restarting is ridiculous.
I make a new save every day, and there should be as many as three autosaves at any given time. The fact that people need to completely restart their game story makes me wonder if they even tried any of the auto saves. And to not have multiple manual saves, how foolish of them. It's not like multiple playthroughs share the same manual save pool or anything.
