Can I have 10 more?"🤣🤣 Silly rule. People will just either go out and come back in or go to different shops. I genuinely believe the 10 card rule is to dissuade people from purchasing full packs or, larger numbers of cards in general. NOT to protect the player but rather, to prevent channels like yourself from showing how few winners and thus more importantly, how MANY losers there are.
Call me cynical, but it's about protecting the brand not an individual who's buying too many, (in Allwins eyes..) cards!!
The fact that you can go into a retailer and purchase 10 cards and then reenter and buy another 10, numerous times and thus still ending up with a full pack, makes a complete nonsense of the rule.
I appreciate there are people with gambling issues but this petty rule will not address or change that.
They are just making it less likely people will play at all.

I believe that it is your money and you should be able to buy as many scratch cards as you want
Hi, a retail worker here: It is there new policy for 10 scratchcards per visit, so we tell people to leave the store then come back. we have to print of the ticket however incase it is a mystery shopper from TNL, its not about store policy, the policy is set by TNL
Getting the scratch cards in for Christmas, will cause some problems for people, if they do rounds of scratch cards with the family on Christmas Day during the meal
Crazy rule what stops you going in lots of shops or you buying ten your partner buys ten crazy rule which just makes staff jobs harder than necessary. After all the shops need the money from the cards they get a cut of sales
I work in a shop and the heathly play has been around for ages and they do ask that we use it and supposedly they do checks on the healthy play just like they do with the age check but I haven’t seen one at our shop for healthy play. None of us have used the slip only as a joke to our regulars as it just seems wrong to make someone feel awful about themselves. Also the Alwyn rep came round and said you can buy 10 leave the shop and come straight back and buy 10 more in theory as it says “10 in a single visit” so not sure what use it even is🤣
I'm annoyed at this rule as well. I read in the paper they brought out the chocolate scented cards because they're losing money as well.
It's a good idea to try and stop you gambling, but ypu can go to another shop and buy more, but if you are used to buying more than 10 cards it's hard, and I do see how it's harder for the staff to sell just 10 cards per a transaction when they was used to selling more to a customer, it is effecting them as well as customers.

Same with alcohol. Should be allowed 3 pints per session max
A couple of the staff in my local Co-op having been giving me one of those pink slips with my cards over the last week or so. I thought it was a bit strange, but didn't question it until I saw this.
The co op have been doing the ticket for a long time. They gave me one last year when I brought 6 cards
its worse with online scratch cards paul , we got banned from the online version and cant even use it to buy lottery tickets. 2 weeks later we got a letter with the gambelers annon thing lol x
This limitation is crazy to me! I am in the US and it is a wild concept to me. First the winners are so far and few between that the couple you can buy you can't win on even. Just nuts, sounds like they are trying to get rid of it all together. Thanks for your videos!!

Hi Paul yes I bought ten and the lady gave me that slip and said she had to give it to me as I could have been one of the secret shoppers and they have to follow rules I didn’t mind lol 😂
they are trying to stop customers from buying them when that’s literally how they make their money that gambling slip would really put me off 🤦🏽♀️

Thinking of that cartoon makes me think of the early 80s when I was a kid and seeing all the toys in the shops knowing I wasn't going to get any of them for Christmas.....i loved Transformers 🙂
They should of brought in a maximum spend rather than maximum number of cards.
That way would be more fairer

Most people just buy a couple of cards, if there are multiple shops locally you just go to them for more, stupid rule.
