The very end cracks me up: “Sometimes I look at the all time ranked leader board in CPL and wonder how he actually got up there” After your (currently) most recent vid about a cheater getting caught, I imagine you were in the midst of that investigation while this video was being made 😏
It’s honestly pretty funny how many of his videos had foreshadowing on who the suspected cheater was. Some aren’t even foreshadowing, basically saying it outright.
Yea, I've seen an actual domination victory in Free For All lobbies exactly thrice. Two of them back when it was still vanilla, Scythia and Russia, mostly because we didn't know what we were doing and they were incredibly op and one Zulu that was actually simply better.
It’s why I have zero interest in competitive CIV, there’s a point in this game where min maxing ruins any fun and it’s so much more fun to have a beer with ur friends while fucking around against ai
the only reason why domination was viable in the previous game was because everyone rushed paratroopers and xcom and just nuked before capping cities in quick succession
Good video. I think it is also very important to set up proper alliances after turn 70-80 compare to achieving your goals. Decreasing your trade routes profits can help later :)
@@KoroaWasTaken u lose a lot of yields per trade route if you traders dont go to your ally/goes towards weak ally. However, you would be able to attack this player to stop him
another banger. I wonder if andrew would be kind enough to help produce a video? Would be interesting to hear him disagree/agree with you on things, maybe something to glean from him
Fighters are really good defensively as you can deploy them to block choke points and there's nothing enemy land units can do to get past them. When you're the one doing the attacking, however, you only need as many fighters as is necessary to clear your target's deployed planes so that your land units can get through. Aside from that very important task, bombers are generally superior.
I never knew that generals allowed siege units to move and shoot in the same turn. Thought it was just something related to having lots of movement left
The only way to really improve APM is to get more experience. In Civ, it's easy to move all of your units and select something to produce in all of your cities before the turn timer runs out if you don't care about making good moves. The real killer is the time you spend thinking about your decisions, and if you have a ton of experience, the situations you find yourself in will feel more familiar and decisions will flow more naturally as a result.
In unmodded Civ 6, building railroads doesn't require a build charge, but building ordinary roads does. I see people joking about the absurdity of this somewhat frequently.
Great video, but I'd love to see a video on going to war before the modern era.. Not because it's optimal but because it's fun to watch as a twitch viewer! The same path of simming to modern era gets old in terms of entertainment value
@@HersonCiv dang. I’m trying to analyze your games, but I wanna build like an overall outline. Like Macedonia: rush PP then feudalism …. Or rush currency then horeseman etc
if that player you are trying to kill in classical is decent enough you won't kill them fast enough or at all to make it worth it, it's a core design flaw
15:43 Hey look, foreshadowing.
Lol, yeah was just thinking that

Watching this now: lol at Andrew being #1
One of the biggest flaws in Civ VI is domination being useless in multiplayer between skilled players.
That’s where the most exciting battles take place

I will make it my life's work to make it viable.

Elite foreshadowing at the end lmfao
The Andrew part at the end aghed well lol
Ok but hear me out - have you considered irrel swordsman push instead resulting in no stats for the rest of the game?
😂😂😂

decreasing?

This comment ages well
Sheephorror recommend me this channel and I do not regret it at all
so, prebuild artilery and tanks -> prebuild light cav for helicopter -> buying bombers (no fighters for units?) -> GDR?

andrew is just a very peaceful smoothtalker lol

Is the move&shoot a BBG mod change for great generals?
No
@@HersonCiv Thanks, that's good to know. Great videos.
Excellent video, thanks for that
BBG looks awesome when playing FFA og just casually with friends. What is the turn mode? Like Dynamic or something different?
i think it’s just standard synchronous turns like usual
Do you recommend multiplayer helper?
Yes. The mod is actually required to even play in CPL, which is the group that all of my games are played in.
Do you have any trouble getting pass a large number of turns? The multiplayer games I host have been stuck on “Please Wait” at around turn 109.
4:07 dont forget project GWAM and writhe in anger as you miss the last writer of an era
I tend to not build encampments at all. In which cities should I build them and in which era?
what’s your to do list right now ?
My answer: WAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH
what are good tips for improving apm

I actually got like 20% apm boost after i set up good key binding for 'next unit' and get used to it. Maybe it ll help you
Could have opened with ‘war. War never changes’ smh
BUM BUM BUM, WAR! WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR? AHHHHHBSOLUTELY NOTHIN
building roads doesn't take a turn in the normal game either fyi, it does take a turn tough

Also you gotta drop the source of the helicopter song

The best time for war is actually when you're my neighbor and I look weak for five turns because I haven't upgraded my ten warriors yet
The more I learn about multiplayer Civ 6 the less interested I am in playing. Its fun watching these videos, though.
Do you coach?
Not at the moment

nope, because early archers.
If you can't kill a player in classical it's a skill issue
Just spawn better
War on me herson 👉🏻🥺👈🏻
20 bowmans and 2 scouts like good old civ5 fashion
