I Will clarify for all. The individual was aggressive for the entire encounter. So yes if you are being aggressive as this individual was. He was advised to leave his phone on the seat and he was detained in the back of a police cruiser. His behavior was an Officer safety issue. After the search was completed he was let out of the cruiser and given his phone back. Had he been non aggressive he would have been able to keep his phone and recorded all he wanted. I could personally care less if anyone records me. His 3 passengers were compliant and stood there on the sidewalk. One of them could have recorded all they wanted and they may have been.
By aggressive do you mean he was taking swings at you or threatening you? That would have landed him in jail. Or was he challenging the stop? The officer safety issue over someone wanting to record is BS! Who would want to record a cop discovering a body in their trunk. Come on man, that's a lame cover for a tyrant. Based on the information you gave you didn't even have RAS for that stop? You didn't mention anything the driver did that was illegal. You can't make a stop based on a hunch.

My cub used a laser which is calibrated before every shift and at the end of the shift. Pissed of he was stopped and was initially refusing to exit the vehicle. Which yes in Ohio you have to exit when ordered by a police officer. And being the K9 alerted to the vehicle would be a good explanation for him not being happy to be stopped. So what other complaint to you want to whine about. Nothing was located so he was given a warning. Could he have charged with disorderly ? Yes 100% but I am not a punk bitch who locks people up because they want to argue. I could have very easily licked him up.
Once he was placed in the cruiser and away from his 3 passengers he started cooling off. Just like 90% of people do when isolated. So yes I am good at my job and make sure not only do I go home every night. I treat everyone with respect and professionalism.
