Shame on the city. This is one of your citizens, what s terrible way to treat her.
I have to say I almost cried for her. The first story really touched me. I just cannot believe that a city has blanket immunity after one of their employees damages a private party property.
I actually had left a comment on the first story. I was asking anyone who might know her or a close friend about starting a go me fund to pay for her car. Before writing this comment I went back and deleted my comment.
I hope the gentleman and his painter start to have a lot more business for stepping up to help a stranger.
Me too
Sovereign immunity needs to end for fed gov and state agencies!
Amen
Sovereign immunity that sound as ridiculous as sovereign citizen
We need more people like this. 🙏🙏🙏This was great 😊😊😊
I actually was tearing up. I was very touched by what they were doing for her. I was so angry after hearing the first story. I just cannot comprehend how the government can be exempt from their employees damaging the public property.
@@davidfrank2824 get over it they can do whatever they want and ain’t nobody doing anything about it
That's really nice of them to do that for her. Shame on the city. Why do they automatically go to her not allowed to sue? Don't they have auto insurance like every other car on the road has to have? Why couldn't insurance take care of it? Sounds like if they are in a deadly accident while picking up garbage, they wouldn't be responsible for the death of another human being.
Good ending. But the city is responsible and should be sued.
That autobody shop is awesome
I wish them lots of prosperity 🙏🏽 ✨️
Beautiful 💙 outcome 😊 we all need to stick together 🤜🏾🤛🏼 because government could careless about us. My hat is off to the owners and workers at this shop.
Good on the Auto shop but the fundamental issue of sovereign immunity is still a problem.
M so happy to see this❤. Love from Nigeria
God! Is good!! 🙂🙏💖👍
Isn't that what insurance is for?
What's the body shop information I got some work that need done
Voters can affect the city council.
That's the only thing they can do to obtain accountability and responsibility from the city.
City pose to pay
No if norfolk would get their moneys worth of vandalisms ill be laughing my sovereign immunity laugh all day lol
What a lame City Council, to let Ms Grant hang on the vine. I’m more DISGUSTED that the Black members were apparently too self-involved.
The “Imma gonna get mine,” is WORD in the community.
That said, I appreciated the truck driver’s stepping up when his worthless City leaders took a powder.
