Scorching Bow K'ril Tsutsaroth(Zammy)(30 kph)(In depth DPS comparisons in comments)(New BIS)

- Today I did some K'ril Tsutsaroth with the new scorching bow. This bow is slightly less dps than the shadow but more dps overall since you lose 0 ticks with the spec(in the starting spot i use you can spec once 6 regular bow then spec again running to tile 2 without tick loss). You also bind the boss for 12 seconds on each spec even if you miss a hit. Most 5:0 methods do use a 31-32 tick cycle which loses a little dps. Freeze methods also aren't too consistent since accuracy is around 30-40%.

(Venator calcs only increase dps with bis range mostly with the scorching bow setup and for range setups that are not using bis and about to gain a max hit. For example bis range tbow with venator and range pot on zebak only increases dps by .01-.02)

Idk if this has been answered yet but there's no delay on freeze, in fact if you time his freeze you can reapply it right when it wears off. But, the snares do not stack, so if you spec back to back, it just resets the snare time
Freezing makes more gameplay sense than red x so I'm all for this. A lack of freeze delay may be a tad overpowered, though.
I hope they don't nerf this, looks fun

Yea I got zuk helm a few months ago. There’s a setting where you can see failed ca’s for bosses and raids in the regular settings. I sometimes go for ca’s with friends so just keep the setting on
So I didn't see the gear equipped. Was this with lb or venator ring? I wanna say lightbearer cause of the regen speed

This really seems to trivialize krill. Does the spec also bind non demons? Might trivialize the rest of GWD too....
It binds non demons but only for 3 seconds. It binds demon bosses for 12 seconds
I feel like they might nerf this.
I think the bind timer might be patched to be similar to freeze spells I feel like bow dps isn’t too bad though.
It’s pretty close to shadow dps and emberlight scythe are bis at other demon bosses

Wait so you can wear max mage and just swap to bow to bind and you dont need pots/gear swaps?
Yea accuracy with bow spec is 100% if it does damage or not so would be able to use max mage without range gear

i have a video i did with shadow and scorching bow here ua-cam.com/video/PE9WpiYPIVo/v-deo.html are you doing 5 shadow then bow spec? i tried doing 4 shadow then bow spec so boss wouldnt move and dps was a bit low and i would run out of spec sometimes. melee minion doesn't get frozen but the dps from faster kills might help.
dont think i hit low hp unless i got hit by a kril melee. first 20-30 kills in video is on task and rest of video is off task.

@jaysmith9560 I’m not too sure I would just have 2 with max mage and have 1 of the accounts use scorching bow every 4 shadow attacks. Could probably bring some range switches to take less damage too but haven’t tested and solo methods
Are you able to do door:altar red-x with this bow too? Not that there really is a reason to since its not like there is a good spec you'd be using with red-x, blowpipe's healing is pretty unnecessary, but I guess maybe Eldritch for some more sustain. One synapse away from being able to make it myself, made purging 2nd.
I think most door altar/5:0+ methods are for bowfa and usually close to no tick loss 3 tick. It would be possible but would be losing a good amount of ticks.(1 tick lost since bow is 4 tick while bowfa is 3 tick.
This would put bow dps around 6.6 dps instead and bowfa would probably be more. It’s possible but dps lost. There’s probably a 4 tick red x method that could be used but no one has found yet

Would tbow switch be worth it?
Scorching bow is around .6 more dps than tbow so don’t need to switch. Bow spec also adds dps too

@@myosrsmemorybank4277 that’s a really good idea since kills take 2 binds with bow could have max mage with magus and switch to lightbearer during timer.
Increased dps and you could probably world hop too with a lot of time on respawn just blood barraging the minions.
Would also need to calc bow spec dps with max range/mage too to see how it compares it was kinda confusing on the gearscape calculator

It’s for slightly extra pray compared to restores and I’ve gotten kinda used to bringing them from doing a lot of toa 500’s. It’s also a anti poison I always forget zammy melee hits can poison but it also works for it
