Gold prices are on fire but it's not primetime yet says Amir Adnani

There are many factors and market uncertainties that could push gold prices higher, but many obstacles still remain before a breakout to the upside is imminent, this according to Amir Adnani, CEO of Uranium Energy Corp. and chairman of GoldMining.
Adnani’s comments come as gold prices edged up on Monday to $1,578.50 as of 9:57 am EST.

Nice to hear a CEO address the odd issue of gold/silver miners not going up very much VS metal prices. Still underwater on many from major purchases in summer 2016 (painful!) Cryptos and cannabis and have burned many investors/speculators over past 2-3 years so we would expect money to flow back into under valued mining stocks, right? Makes me wonder if the mining stock arena is some how manipulated by ??? I do think mining will take off but bewildered by recent lag in price appreciation. Your thoughts?

Mining stocks are mostly highly hedged so they don’t participate in rising prices. The other thing is reserves are shrinking....
