I appreciate that we have Indian writers. More so a female writer. Kudos that she has a lot of guts to research on this controversial and dangerous topic. However, Bentong Kali should not be glorified. The interview should have been towards the reason why Tamil young people are gravitating towards crime and how this can be resolved etc. Interviewers have a responsibility too. Careful how you steer your questions.

I think this should be done as a movie , obviously history is taught even in school its not wrong to study and know about someone who was a notorious person back then , i think his movie would be pretty interesting and fun to watch also many lessons to learn , its just my opinion . Also for those who are saying this topic is useless lets focus on developing our indian community i would just like to say if every indian parents make sure their kids studies well , if every house focuses on themselves becoming better then our indian community will automatically develop we dont need to focus on our community just focus on yourselves , if everybody focuses on themselves to become better then our community will automatically become better . 😉😜

Its good to know that how would gangster's end up and this should serve as a lesson to the young generation on how bad and negative influences will cause their life without any purposes. The author should stress that a criminal is a criminal which should capture the mind of those who read the book and this book is a BIG NO in my shelf for whatever sake. It might be good to know however to positively nurture our children's and young generation mind i wish the author would consider to dive into great Hero's like Dato JJ Raj , ACP Kulasingam , Judges , Soldiers etc .... who contributed to the Nation and made us proud. These great peoples are also estate boys grow up from hardship and they make big differences in life with purpose and should serve a great examples for the generation to come. Appreciate if you could consider and i promise to buy 1000 copies and proudly distribute with my chest up , wish you well with great works ahead.

One day i'll make a movie about Bentong Kali
in the last 10-15 in malaysian indian cinema there are lots of hyped rubbish films are made which are inspired from tamil movies.. i feel like wanna bring a change into it... i'm so confident that i'll make the best gangster film in the industry. His story is the best malaysian gangster templete and what ever we are witnessing now in tamil movies Mr.Kalimuthu has already done back in 80's and 90's if i make a movie bout him it'll be a game changer.
So that you can inspire others to be gangsters. And you said wanna bring something different from the India cinema. What difference does it makes you from them?
