  • In the video I'm going to show you the RIGHT way to sell LearnDash courses using subscriptions and installment plans.
    Offering subscriptions and installment plans is a great way to generate additional revenue from your courses.
    In this video, we're going to be utilizing the Upsell Plugin (upsellplugin.com) which integrates directly with LearnDash and gives us the ability to offer sell our courses as subscriptions and/or installment plans.
    The reason this is the RIGHT way to sell our LearnDash courses is because it's the only plugin on the market that will AUTOMATICALLY remove your student if they cancel their subscription or their payment fails. The plugin handles everything for you, so there is no manual steps to take. Allowing you to automate the entire process.
    Hope you enjoy the video!

    The only part I am still confused on is if PayPal automatically deducts the payment installment or if they send the customer an invoice to pay? My PayPal in integrated with my shipping software, some orders are digital and some are shipped.

    This is a great plugin, thank you. Quick question: If I wanted to give my customers the *option* to pay one lump sum, or to spread payments monthly, how do I go about setting those up simultaneously for the one course?

    • @JaberMarketing
      @JaberMarketing  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you :)
      You would want to setup 2 identical products. One product would be for the one-time payment, lump sum.
      The second product would have the installment plan/subscription enabled.
      You would then have the choices on your sales page or wherever you're giving them the option when signing up.
      They would click on the button, link, etc. to proceed to the checkout page for whatever payment option they chose.
      Hope that helps :)
      Here is a video showing how to easily create subscriptions and installment plans inside the Upsell Plugin - ua-cam.com/video/Esn4m6OuD0M/v-deo.html

    Jaber nice video... listen... how you in LD Profile page the subscription information. How the user that subscribe can find this info, and downgrade the plan or cancel etc... there's a way to do that and to you this info directly in LD profile page?

    The Email subscription: can you Tag every Single product?
    Is it either woocommerce or your plugin or can you integrate it with woocommerce and learndash also?

    • @JaberMarketing
      @JaberMarketing  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, every product can go to a seperate list/tag, so you can seperate them on a product basis.
      The Upsell Plugin does not integrate with Woo. It integrates directly with Stripe and PayPal.
      You can run woocommerce on your website along with the Upsell Plugin, but they don't "talk with each other".
      Hope that helps.

    Hi, can a customer add in a code for the course to get it for free/money off/enrol themselves?

    • @JaberMarketing
      @JaberMarketing  4 роки тому

      Yes, you can use a coupon code for this and/or create a free product hidden from the public and use that link to send out.

    Is it a good idea to offer subscription plan? What if people choose that option and get access to my course and study it in a month or download it and then cancel their subscription? What’s the idea here? Like getting paid 1 month subscription amount is better than nothing? Im just trying to understand how I can effectively utilize this for my course. Thank you

      Hi Osman -
      I agree with your thought process.
      When it comes to LearnDash if you're selling a couple "one-off" courses, it's going to be hard for your students to stick around for a while.
      Once they digest your content, they really don't need access to the courses again.
      So...
      IMO there are 2 ways to approach LearnDash and subscriptions.
      1. You create your courses and drip the content/lessons to them using LearnDash's drip functionality.
      This approach will allow you to spread out the course content over a longer period of time.
      2. This approach is the approach I think is most beneficial and will allow you to create a passive income with your LearnDash courses.
      Not only do you create LearnDash courses, but you build a community. You create additional content relevant to your audience which you're constantly adding to the members area.
      By continuously over-delivering and providing additional content, it will give your members/students a reason to continuously pay you and come back to the website.
      It will also allow you to build a community where your students and prospective students see you as the go-to expert in your field.
      Hope that helps.
      Let me know if you have nah questions and/or thoughts.

    Canceling the subscription in stripe like you did... Did that refund the two initial payments: $397 and $49?

    • @JaberMarketing
      @JaberMarketing  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Dan - No, cancelling a subscription would not issue any refunds. It would only cancel the subscription that is linked to that specific product/purchase.
      Hope that helps!

    • @dankelly
      @dankelly 4 роки тому

      @@JaberMarketing so, in that specific case, you have the customers money, but they don't have access to any products? So, you'd need to refund them separately.

    • @JaberMarketing
      @JaberMarketing  4 роки тому

      Sorry, I think I'm confused a bit on what you're asking.
      When a customer purchases a subscription that's attached to a LearnDash course(s). When they cancel their subscription, they would automatically be removed from the course(s) since they're no longer a paying customer/student.

    • @dankelly
      @dankelly 4 роки тому

      @@JaberMarketing I gotcha. They pay you $397, but cancel future payments. If they"cancel" the rest of the payments, you remove access... But you still have their $397 and they have no product. So, you'd just need to refund the initial payment too.

    • @dankelly
      @dankelly 4 роки тому

      @@JaberMarketing also, if it were a regular recurring subscription (with no end) you'd need to cancel their subscription at the end of the last subscription they paid for, not immediately. Ex. If they paid through June 30, but cancel on June 5th, you need to remove their access on June 30... Or give a prorated refund.
