Catharsis, thank you so much for such a detailed commentary video. I can't even call this a "Reaction" video because it doesn't fit in with other "stare at it say omg and done" ones, it's just a great commentary from an animator's POV.
I do the same for music, albeit I'm not as versed in theory so animation gets more detail. Music i just share opinions and try to include anything i learn afterwards into the edit
It is a reaction and animation break down video. I also guess you've only seen shitty "reaction" videos. I put it in quotes cuz those are the vids that aren't proper reaction videos.

Very interesting video !! If you wanna react and analyse another genshin video you should definitely watch the Endless Suffering Short Trailer, and also I think it would be interesting to see an analysis of Glory Endures in Legacy, as the style is a little different from the ones you’ve seen so far. I know a lot of people recommended Winter’s Night Lazzo on the last video, but there’s not much movements :/ there wouldn’t be a lot to analyze

14:20 another thing you might not have caught (and I only just caught it) is that in the upper portion of this overhead shot of the two fighting, you can see the remains on the ground of the previous shot that focused on her foot, coated in ice, as she stepped forward.
14:40 you may have missed in a later shot that is a tighter close up on her eyes than this one, her brother appeared reflected in her eyes.
16:50 while it's kind of energy traveling up the blade, it's more specifically an ice coating/infusion.
I saw the first two. Continuity is (imo) a basic function of any production. I'd probably have pointed it out if it WASN'T there, because I'd be annoyed. Big shocker the guy whose job is getting details right being mad about missing detail lol.
The reflection i did notice, but didn't add a part about it because it was more of the "this is cool let me highlight it" thing than it was a solid teachable moment.
A few people have said the ice thing, but I was just referring to it as a blanket. I'd have called fire, ice, electricity, etc. all the same. Energy/power is just a safe term for me, i more mean it in the "kinetic/potential energy" way than the actual element involved

and also are you only going to react to 2d animation? and not 3d? if you do genshin has a lot of 3d animation fights.

for some anime there are whole compilations of just cropped, zoomed out character faces because they look so derpy
