To all my friends who are waking up to the truth, it’s not too late to be saved!
The bad news: We are all sinners with a fallen nature. No sin is greater or worse than any other, sin is sin. God is a Holy God and he cannot allow not even 1 sin into heaven.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”
The good news, If Jesus could ask his Father to forgive those who tortured, mocked, blasphemed and crucified him what makes you think he won't forgive you!?
      The Gospel:
Jesus paid for our sins so that we might be saved, nothing we can do on this earth can ever save us.
Ephesians 2:8-9“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
“Romans 3:20-26 “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”
      How to be saved?
As a repentant sinner Look into your heart and confess: Dear God I am a wretched sinner, as I repent I put my faith that Jesus is God and that he died buried and resurrected so that his blood can wash away my sins I put my faith in that alone to save me not my good works in Jesus name I pray Amen.
Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

Modern Vampires of the city felt like I had been suffocating my entire life. It’s meta, present and post modern. It blemishes anyone’s understanding of rock and pop music and take all that into a whole different level. When it was announced that Rostum left. It’s like a hole was created in the space time continuum. I hope he goes back to VW one day….but I respect what the band and Rostum are doing on their own. Legends in their own time.

Contra's gotta be my top, both the music and the lyrics are complex and consistently brilliant. Each song has an amazing sense of character. (Which could be said for any one of their albums) Father of the Bride is definitely a new chapter for them, I like the open-ended nature of the video and the inclusion of the Haruomi Hosono song used in '2021' as the background music. Interesting to hear you pronounce Rostam's name... I always just call him Batman.

I grew up on Vampire Weekend & Contra, spent 5th-7th grade on Modern Vampires of the City, and worked on 9th grade homework with Father of the Bride playing. Always loved this band

Great video! It's cool seeing you cover music I already like, helping develop my appreciation for it. My favourite of those three Vampire Weekend albums is a hard question, since I think each one contains greatest hits as well as slightly more under rated songs. It's cool to see Father of the Bride has the most songs so far.

i was in my peak teen years when they released modern vampires of the weekend and became a fan, they will forever remind me of my first love and first drunken frenzy and the first time i smoked weed and hannah hunt was tactile ugh i was so moved by them being pretentious (or being perceived as pretentious) because i was a gifted kid who was always called pretentious

Love this band so much. The first 2 albums came out as my high school career was ending and as such I’ve attached so much nostalgia to them both. Will always love them. MVotC is great but it can’t quite compare to Contra. FOTB might surpass Contra as my favorite, though.

This was beautifully said. Vampire Weekend has been my favorite band since they started playing and it truly has been magical watching them grow. This video explains Vampire Weekend great and is well said.

Wow I kinda forgot about Vampire Weekend and how much I loved Contra. This video forced me to go back, have another listen and I am not mad at all. Should’ve mentioned the great project Discovery which was made up of Rostam and Wes Miles (Ra Ra Riot). Another job well done Middle 8.

I love all three of them, and I really see them as a trilogy with FOTB (really growing on me atm) a wonderful fresh post-Rostam new start.
But Modern Vampires is not only my favourite VW album, it's in my top couple of albums of all time.

I’m very glad you talked about Vampire Weekend evolution. They have one of the best discography of this last fifteen years, and Father of the Bride is a great record too! Btw, could you do a video on both Lorde and Ben Howard work/artistic career path? Love your videos man, keep it up!
