Been making maps for the last couple years and this video was great! There were things in here that I did already to spice things up, but also things I didn't entirely have a god grasp on! Also, "Pole spam is not only correct, it's the morally right thing to do." Didn't realize you were French xdd
Great video as usual, great choice of map for the points you were illustrating too, that transitional one is very memorable and felt exactly as you described, a bit weird at first but super smooth and satisfying when it clicks.
I haven't done any tutorials for specific styles yet, but they're on the to-do list. I'm waiting for a couple more things to fall into place, but it's a series that's on the horizon with transitional being one of the first styles I want to focus on
There is more than a few mappers that can learn a thing or two from you Nolafus. Thanks for creating these videos, makes it easier - telling a mapper where to go to learn :)
Yet another home run video. I wouldn’t consider myself a great mapper yet, but I certainly have improved much faster than I would have otherwise if you weren’t making such great content.
holy he actually finished editing today 🙌👏
I had to go grocery shopping, so it took a bit longer, haha
This is such a good tutorial. Love that the advice is broad enough that it can be applied to designing good tracks in other racing games as well!
Appreciating your videos man, keep it up!
great video, ill use some of these tips in my next map
don't mind me, commenting for the algorithm

I got a C for French in high school, does that count?
As someone who took a French course in college, failed both the midterm and the final and still passed the class by 3 points, I'll say oui @@nolafus
