Baihuatan Park （百花潭公园）is located at No. 5 Fanglin Road（芳邻路）, Caotang Street（草堂街）, Qingyang District（青羊区）, Chengdu City（成都市）, Sichuan Province（四川省）. It is on the inner side of West First Ring Road（西一环路）, connected to Fanglin Road in the south, adjacent to Jinjiang River（锦江） in the east, and the southern end of Qintai Road（琴台路）. It faces Qingyang Palace（青羊宫） across the river. The park was established as Chengdu Zoo in 1953, reconstructed to a park in 1976 then renamed Baihuatan Park in 1983, the name "Baihuatan" is originated from Chinese great poet Du fu's poem. This Park mainly includes Sichuan Bonsai Garden and more classical Chinese gardens, plus a memorial hall of Chinese writer Ba Jin.
