Glad I found this video. I'm surprised I have gotten as far as I have without doing this. Just rolled my favorite weapons and gear and stats improved a lot!
So breaking it down: If you recalibrate one stat" (no matter what) at an item, the rest is locked and you can't recalibrate them ever again. So basically you go for gear that is maxed out in all numbers except one and this is the one you recalibrate to overall max out your item. Did I get this right?

2 Notes GDaddy: 1) Check Your Gear Before You Proceed, because it will all be different and you need to know how it works.
2) The Dev's Made a Gear Set Tylenol Headache. So, Plan on taking a lot of time to Organize Your Extractions.
3) The Extraction didn't destroy my original host gear piece either, and I still had a full inventory after I did 20+ Extractions.
4) My old HardWire Gear Set Works, but the Conversion DownGraded my 24% Headshot Damage Att's to Less Than 10% Weapon Damage & 240 Armor to 140 Armor.
5) Year 1 Pass Owners got the Warlords DLC Downloaded This Morning and It's Available to Play. However, It is missing the Level 30 Boost and starting me at Level 5 aka WT5.
6) So I'm not going Until I get My Gear Straight In my Head.
7) Because the Crafting Station Also Got DownGraded to 450-515.
There is petrov gloves lvl 515 with all highest stats - would that be considered a 'god roll'?

What if i extracted an attribute that isnt maxed. How do i delete it from my library so that i can extract a maxed one from another item?
When you extract another higher percentage attribute it just replaces the lower one. Best to only extract a perfect roll off something that has 2 other crap rolls, or something you don't use (perfect crit chance on something with skill tier and health attribute).
Is recalibration only available at level 30? Can someone explain when or how you get this? Great video! Simple and easy to follow.

Ok I'm sorry I barely got what was being said so you have to get a talent from a gun then destroy the gun and then craft it again to add the talent or attribute?
Extracting the talent or attribute destroys the item, and it stays in your library forever. I wouldn't bother crafting items for attributes, at least not with my crafting table. Just keep the stuff you loot that has a god roll and extract it, slowly fill your library.

Ok so you put a attribute or talent into your library. You put one of them onto a weapon or gear. Will that attribute or talent be gone or can I keep putting whats in my library onto more guns and gear?
It functions like gun mods, you can reuse them as many times as you like.
Once in the library you can use it as much as you want on as many items as you want

I don't think Perfect talent recalibrates.
All the people salty about having to start over have obviously not played a lot of MMO type games (not intended as a dis BTW). This is pretty much the norm. I mean if you're not into grinding, then more power to ya, but maybe you should find another genre. Maybe go play something where you don't have to grind for loot. Like maybe Call of Duty. Grinding for loot and builds is literally the core gameplay loop of this type of game. MMOs do this sort of thing all the time and one full year is not an unreasonable amount of time. It keeps the game fresh and gives you more to do. You can't just keep dropping more and more powerful loot because the powercreep will trivialize the content and people will get bored.

For anyone who doesn’t know, while your in the recal library if you click “ Y “ (or triangle if your on ps4) then it switches the “levels” of gear so you can see your gear that is lower than lvl 31.

And gear score still doesn’t matter from what I see.
GS does matter, because higher GS gear or weapons will have better stats and better max rolls as well. Example: A 450 gun with max roll of say 5% crit chance. If u take that same gun but 500 gs the max roll for crit chance will be like 8% or something like that, and also the base dmg and base stats of higher gs loot are better across the board.
So better to extract all 500!

@@espadafive302 well if u have the dlc u shud only care about lvl 40 gear. Cuz theyll have the best stats and rolls. If u dont have the dlc the max stats gear is 515 score.

Yeah they have ruined it. It's the worst it's ever been and thats coming from a player with over 6000 hours in both division games combined.
This technically didn't change shit... You can still only re calibrate only one thing on an item. They just shifted things around trying to make look a little more fun, but in the end its still the same, still cannot do what you can do in TD1. get the fuck out of the here Ubisoft... Oh and I noticed they also fucked up my skill build, no way can i get back to 10 sec cd. wow....

The stuff that was extracted from the old gear (30) can be applied to new gear (31-40)? That’s because I I’ve pretty much every stat maxed out, and I’m afraid to go to NY and that stat won’t be applied to the new gear. Maybe leave my carácter in DC and make a new one just for NY, makes sense?
Awesome to have all your level 30 stuff become obsolete, right? Glad I didn't have too much time into it before getting the DLC, I'd be pissed if I had a year into the game and had to start all over with gear and weapons.

Ok I'm confused. So if I extract something let's say had 5% out of the 10%. 5% is not maxed but if I find a gear that has the 5% and I recalibrate it with the 5% in my library, will that gear have the max of 10%?
Question , is it possible to optimize a weapon or gear stats like we did in Division 1? like a gun max damage, rate or ammo capacity? I mean not by chaging attributes from another equipment but by just optimizing by paying some currency??
Till now, you had 1/2 or 1/3 things you were able to re-roll. Now you have 1/4, so again, lower chance to get a maxed out gear/weapon. Grind-grind-grind. I don’t know if I should cry or laugh.
So if let’s say I need a bag with crit damage crit chance I can only change it to have one of those so I have to keep getting that bag until it’s doable?

This was by far the most helpful, and easy to understand recalibration tutorial that I've come across. I am still wondering tho, if you use an attribute from your library, does it leave your library? Once I extract a role, can I use it more than once? Great video Ty!

I have tier 3 skills and my chem launcher heal and mender mine are still terrible makes healing skills not worth it
I have a tier 6 skill build that had 101%dte and 110% explosive dmg now it can't even kill a red npc. They have ruined the game

This overwhole seems pointless. Why would you store skills even tho you still only can recalibrate 1 skill or talent? Plus why did they fucked up my set up? Was there any reason to why they decided mess up people gear set ups? At this point I’m kinda more turned off wanting to play more division 2
Because you might need that skill at the max roll to make a god rolled weapon or gear and not have to keep items in your stock because it's already saved in the library so it's very useful.......
Marcus Coker but the library just adds more unnecessary steps for recalibrating gear when you can just do it way more quicker when you already have 2 gear you’re going to calibrate instead of a pointless extra step that is extracting it and putting the skills/talents in a library. It’s needlessly addition unless they make it where we can recalibrate more then one skill slot.
I tried to extract a perfect talent... I did not see that one as available.. Only the "normal" version. Any thoughts on that or am I missing anything?

I try to figure out with what they change the % percent of Elite Damage. I think now it's with headshot damage, but I'm not sure. And I used to have 365.000 armour, now I have 241.000. Maybe everything will change after I play the New York dlc
So about recalibration, you can extract, but what is the limit when you put the talents and attributes into another items? Asking...because as for now, i'm pretty mad when i see that from my crit chance cap, i ended to be like 1/5, around 13%. Even my armor went down by 30k.
