Good to know Jim, thanks. What I heard many years ago was the same thing but with compressed air. Because if there are built-up carbon deposits in it that are blocking the flame/fuel, the compressed air will blow it out. Like with the butane trick, just a fraction of a second of a blast should do it.
I think you're right about the compressed air being the key factor!
