I like the fact that Nick doesn’t put players in unnecessary situations once the game is in the bag. Unlike the lions trying to destroy teams once the games been over.
Yup but the media loves him cuz he bites. Knee caps, and hates Nick because he plants seeds lmao. I get he is awkward but then clowning him for his speech is so dumb. We've heard plenty of horrible coaching speeches and analogies. Nick made sense if you think about it. Dan Campbell saying to bit ankles and knee caps is equally dumb. That'll get you a flag. I don't want my players biting people lmao. But I understand it's an analogy and Im smart enough to ignore the silliness and focus on the intent behind the words. Planting seeds to nurture and grow a tree of success is a much more common analogy than biting another man's kneecap off lmao. But one sound la more like hardcore football vibes so they gonna let it slide. And they will use that to justify his flaws, and they'll use Nicks speech as a way to criticize him and ignore his success. I went from 65% against Nick up to week 5, to 90% with him now. Bill already got unc so theres no coach I would trust more than Nick for next year's even if we lose before the NFC championship game. We gotta remember how we treated Andy Reid, and what happened after. If we kept Andy we would have had the best coach for decades, but we got chip Kelly to destroy the team lol were lucky we won in 2017, cuz we ain't deserve it. Might get rid of Nick and get 3 years of collapse and have to rebuild. And 2 more years of failure and the media and lions will want Campbell out.
That one year 2023 after his draft that he didn’t want to start was for a reason! He wanted to up his level and learn last year2023 just so he can dominate this year 2024, but really next year 2025 Nolan Smoth Jr. will be unstoppable! Micah Parsons said it his self, he wanted to recruit Nolan Smith Jr. In college!
Carter bloomed his freshman year at UGA. But yeah, Nolan has really been in a zone lately. Racking up pressures and sacks. Compare that with McDonald IV and Van Ness - both edges taken in the teens. Nolan has been, as far as I can tell( the best edge (this season) from that 2023 class of high end names. Obviously, WAJ is the cream of the crop. But to have gotten Carter at 9 and Smith at 30 is preposterous value. Lastly, has Davis taken a step? I’d argue yes and no. Yes in the sense he’s a bit more consistent and plays more. But he rarely blows up a play. Albeit, he’s so big and strong that he does clog up plenty of plays. (And Nakobe has been very good too.) So, the comment holds up ✔️lol. If Huff comes back healthy and with an edge (pun intended), this defense is insane. Great coaches, players and attitudes. Showing how and why team defense is more important than one or two guys showing out (a la Micah or Crosby). As long as we stay healthy and Jalen plays the way he did vs. PIT, this is the team to beat. Full stop. I want that damn Super Bowl trophy that should’ve been ours in 2022-23!
I wonder how much practising against Lane and Jordan helps these edge guys hone their work. Surely that's a benefit of having two superstar tackles to beat on.
For the algorithm! Show your boy some love for Christmas and send one of these vids to the eagles fan in your life you want to bless with some great birds content! Not trying to glaze I just think this channel should have at least 50-100K subs. God bless you all and merry Christmas!
Nolan Smith is the highest graded EDGE taken in the first-round of ‘23 not named WAJ! It’s so refreshing to see him realize his crazy skills. Since 2021, we’ve drafted (esp on Day 1 and early Day 2) about as good as one can expect. I know Huff already looks like a bust; however, if we can get even 75% of his Jets production, he’ll be a boon to have once he’s healthy. Juxtapose that with the Lions losing a ton of important pieces. Obviously, knock on wood! ✊🪵
Milt, while getting washed on too many run plays, has the 2nd highest pass rushing grade (per PFF) of ALL iDLs! What a godsend this defensive coaching staff has been. We have a head coach as our DC and a DC as our DL coach. I have no idea what Milt’s market will be. But he’s earned himself a ton of money the past few weeks. Here’s to him - and Nolan (+ Bryce) - keeping it up!
@@uncletom356Milt's been excellent and he has finally taken the next step as a pass rusher. Unfortunately, his run defense has been lacking because of it. He has been an excellent run defender for all of his career except this year. Granted, it is difficult to rush the passer well while defending the run. He will probably be making over $12 mil/year with another team this off-season.
@@jadenblackerby3325 I take all PFF grades and evaluations with massive grains of salt. But to have him in the “elite” range of pass rushers from the interior is crazy. Milt is athletic as hell. Fairly young still (25 I think?). We should’ve taken Alim McNeill, although that big fella got injured this week. So, maybe not. All I know is Milt will surpass $12M AAV. Think it starts at 15. But let’s worry about that after the parade 😎. Go 🦅!
@@jadenblackerby3325 P.S. I’m holding out hope for a re-signing. I want everyone, save for Huff and his albatross of a contract, back next year. Baun, Sweat and Milt will all have higher price tags than Howie will want to pay. Just, the offense is already locked up. Like, the entire O. So, I’m hoping with Howie’s cap manipulations, he can keep all the studs - and find a way to rid ourselves of the bad money hits (JB & Huff). P.P.S. Huff always performed better as the season went on. I know he’s been a disaster. But if he shows up in the playoffs, who’s beating this team? Especially if/when Jalen’s finger keeps healing. Puh-puh-please keep Saquon - really the entire O - healthy! ✊🪵
@@uncletom356 Huff's final three games leading up to his injury were very good. He'll bounce back and end up paying off. He was a very elite situational pass rusher and athlete. Players like him don't just forget how to play. He's in a new scheme with a new team, and he was utilized incorrectly for half the season. Gotta cut Huff some slack.

Thats why i respect Nick. We could have beaten alot of teams by more points but why run it up to hurt players. Campbell make no sense

@@Bentley7Cruize facts!!!!!
There’s no doubt in my mind he’s gonna be a superstar. Great fundamentals and a freak athlete.
Great content again.. Nolan has really stepped up and proved he's worth that 1st round draft pick
So happy for him. Really stepped up when BG went down
Love it! He’s been doing so much better. I’d like to see him finish with 9 sacks
Great breakdown as always
Appreciate the content

He is improving every week! I think the Georgia boys are blooming this year.

I love the fact that on the Josh Sweat sack Jalen Carter is being held, jersey's being tugged and it still didn't even matter.
Man, he gave Darnell Washington two in the pink and one in the stink. Jesus.
LOVE IT! 90% of our fanbase counted him out or called him a "bust" now everybody switchin up lol

You always start at a players motor when looking at defensive line and linebackers. Nolan smith has a fucking v-10 motor

6:25 - the edge defender, and every other pass rusher, should never try to hurdle the blocker in front of them.
No, REALLY??
Sporting a Norway tan there son. xD
