Binary Domain takes generic TPS gameplay and makes it satisfying and fun. It's not crazy, stylish or very skill-based like Vanquish, it's just a really enjoyable ride. The regular enemies are fun to destroy, the bosses are simply awesome, the scenery is nice and the music is also pretty good here and there. The story offers some nice ideas but it doesn't take them very far and the end result is more or less predictable if you've ever seen Blade Runner and the like. The characters are so stereotypical it's silly. It's got a very lovable charm about it though. I got it for 10 bucks and I'm very content with what I got. It's only dirt cheap like that because it doesn't have Uncharted or Gears of War in the title. But frankly, it's a lot better than both of them.

Pros: Third person shooter! a beautiful and immersive futuristic world, awesome graphics with authentic characters' acting, a very enjoyable and tight gun play, ample variety of enemies, decision making, a touching story with many twists. An over all nice and unique gaming experience! Cons: sometimes the game will just troll you with extremely long boss battles, has some annoying quick time events, squad mates run into your line of fire and then curse you about it! and f those sewage elevator robot monkeys!
PS+ Thank you - this game is awesome. I love how ti has that "arcade game" kinda feel to it. The shooting and controls are solid. Story was surprisingly interesting as well.

I give this game the award: "The best Game no-one played 2012". Even tough it has little weaknesses it's entertaining as hell and such a great looking and addicting shooter with (very) mild RPG influences. This game deserved a hell lot better!

A really good game! Id give it a 8.5. The story is fun and shouting over commands and getting a response is very rewarding even though it took awhile to set up and about 8 of the 30 commands never seem to work for me. The multiplayer is also alot of fun but there is NONE playing like at all. Super underrated game.

While this game is great and very underrated there are several reasons it failed to do well commercially, first it had poor promotions, no banners and posters on gaming websites or video ads, bad title, bad cover picture which doesn't attract the gamers well enough. And specially the release date, which was a month before Mass Effect 3 when the latter is clearly far more famous. Thats the reason for this game's performance.
Just played this yesterday and i must say that there hasnt been a 3rd person shooting game worth paying $60 for for a long time until now. Great story, extremely smart A.I., plus the fact that it has descent RPG elements gives more motivation to do all of the shooting that occurs. And the graphics, the fucking graphics are amazing.

They gave it a 7.5 because that is what it deserves. As I've said before, it's a copy of previous shooters, almost down to a tee. Not to mention that the new ideas that they added in could have been done so much better. You don't get credit for partially implemented ideas, especially if these ideas can be removed from the game with little to no impact to the gameplay. Sure, parting flying off while shooting is satisfying, but not enough to boost it past just good.
The ONLY things I disliked about this game were: 1.) Allies would sometimes run in front of you while were shooting, causing them to lose trust in you. 2.) No co-op.

This game was and still is a sleeping giant! Amazing graphic, crazy gameplay and storyline is badass! Can't wait for the sequel of ever! A must buy!!

The shooting in this game is SOOO satisfying. No third person shooter comes close to the gunplay in the game, except maybe for the Max Payne series.

One of the best TPS story line I have ever played. "Binary Domain" and "Spec Ops: the line" are my fav TPS of PS3. 9/10.

this game was screaming out for local split screen co-op or some online co-op as well. But still please support this new IP

10 hour campaign? That's a guaranteed buy for me.
I had more fun with this game's demo, than I did with the entire Gears 3 campaign.
That fucking robots are harder to kill than zombies and the bosses are difficult as hell, a hell inhabited by God-powered demons

it is, but it only has campaign. If Vanquish had multiplayer, it would be unstoppable!
7.5 does mean pretty good...It even says "Good" underneath the numerical score.
