Hi, This method is more flexible than using a plastic air cone inside the roots. It is easier to adjust. I have another video using sphagnum moss instead of LECA . I will wait for a few days before watering it since the roots have just been trimmed, and the wounds of roots need to be heal before watering. It can be in semi hydro but this cup have holes at the bottom too.
