- In JMeter, the Arrivals thread group is used to control the arrival rate of virtual users to the system. It enables you to specify the number of threads to start at a particular time interval, and each thread will represent a virtual user.
To use the Arrivals thread group in JMeter, follow these steps:
Add a Thread Group to your test plan: Right-click on your Test Plan and select "Add - Threads - Arrivals Thread Group".
Configure the Arrivals Thread Group: Once added, click on the Arrivals Thread Group, and in the control panel that appears, set the following parameters:
Number of threads: The number of threads to start at a particular time interval.
Ramp-up time: The time interval in seconds to start the specified number of threads.
Hold target rate time: The amount of time to maintain the arrival rate after the ramp-up time is complete.
Add samplers and other elements to the Arrivals Thread Group: You can add samplers, controllers, and other elements to the Arrivals Thread Group, just like you would with any other thread group.
Run the test: Once everything is configured, you can run the test by clicking on the "Run" button in JMeter.
By using the Arrivals Thread Group, you can control the rate at which virtual users arrive at your system, which can help you simulate realistic traffic patterns and identify performance bottlenecks.

Thank you sir
Do you have any experience on dynatrace monitor application
I have experience in all APM tools
But the problem is in organization we have an app to setup and all infrastructure will be available. But setting it up from scratch needs lot of time and effort. I am planning for one. Will come up with one soon. Thanks for asking
Thank you 👍
