Their kiss in S2 gave strong first kiss vibes tbh. All of the stuff that doesn't make sense can just be chalked up to lesbian dramatics (source: I'm a lesbian)
@@nikomarek951 can't argue too hard with the firsthand source, but I would argue the kiss felt a bit more like a, we're in a stressful and life threatening situation, but this kiss is the best way to communicate my commitment to you, kinda vibe. Could go either way but I think their interactions in season 2 only further convince me they were already romantically involved
@@mrspacyI agree, I mean they were touching so goddamn much in the first episode it’s hard NOT to notice. That’s really only something you do with a person you are extremely comfortable with which could also be their love language is touch.
Yes that's exactly what I was thinking. Especially with the way Vi sort of just dropped her gauntlets after a beat of silence and went in for the second kiss. I don't think them being touchy in the 1st episode proves that they made out in S1, but it's rather a natural response and coping mechanism for the both of them considering everything that was going on. Plus, they were already touchy in S1 due to the circumstances they were put in where they literally had to hold the other person for the majority of the time they were together because of injuries, so I'd say they were pretty comfortable with touching each other by S2. But I also agree that their relationship seemed to have progressed to a more intimate level after the bed scene, so that implies that something must've happened. I personally think that they talked a lot more, maybe even about their feelings for each other or a desire to have a future together? I'm thinking along the lines of "When this is over..." and them just being honest about what they want, and maybe cuddling afterwards. I also think it's worth noting that Caitlyn was injured and they were both probably extremely tired after the day's events, so it would make the most sense for them to rest.
I feel like if something that impactful to their relationship happened, the show wouldn't shy away from showing it? Like why assume something happened lol I think its just a realistic slow burn lesbian relationship, and I love that :) like there's aLOT of intimacy in talking for a whole night for hours, then just having sex
I agree with all your points and it makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, I vaguely recall Amanda Overton revealing via Reddit AMA (or maybe Twitter?) that, while Vi and Cait got reeeeaaalll close to it, they didn't actually boink. Steamy makeout, as you put it, is seemingly as far as things got at the time. But she did also confirm there will be a Piltover's Finest Sex Scene at _some point_ in Season 2.
I didn't know that, sounds like they definitely thought about it! I'd be happy with just an acknowledgement that something happened in season 2 somewhere, but I know it's unlikely
Before I even watch his theory, mine is that the Vi and Cait bed scene happened in the morning their 5 minute presentation to council happen that night. They had all day together. And why would Cait spring the whole "what about us" to Vi if nothing happened? Not to mention Cait's rewinding of the breakup in her head in the shower. Where she is seen biting her lower lip. She caught feelings hard. You're not getting that from holding hands.
i physically couldnt breathe for those three hours of season 2 that just came out ahsduyhasugcyiagu, over-analyzing this show since it came out really built insaaane anticipation for the second season
What do you mean no one talks about it?? 😅 Have you see the fanarts? Have you scrolled just the first page of the Ao3 of "Caitlyn/Vi" ship ???? This is where your answers are buried
I don't think it's necessary, the more point of the video is that I think there was likely at least a kiss scene discussed in the production process. The change in body language and dialogue implies that something of that nature happened.

I wonder who will be involved in the scene I'm so intrigued 😭😭
Do you have the quote? I feel like I read that but it was more of a "well I personally think this" creator headcanon thing, not confirmed as canon
Lets hope shes not talking about victor and sky(hextek core)
Did they really? 😭 nobody is asking for sex scenes in Arcane, shit's just weird and unnecessary just like it was last season
very good theory cole you are so smart i think they made out sloppy style with lots of oil and water

Jinx did ask Vi about that though.
He mentioned it in another comment
excellent video. just excellent!
I would be surprised if they don't have a sex scene in this season ngl, there is just too much chemistry between them to not have it happen
this is real nothing else matters

great video :)) are going to do more arcane related videos?
Yes! I plan on releasing a reaction to part 1 before part 2 airs on the 16th :)
that intro was premier
@@liuxe997 Thanks!! 😂
WE DONT NEED A SEX SCENE TO UNDERSTAND THEIR RELATIONSHIP. I honestly doubt they wasted the budget on that

@ exactly . I agree . I like how the relationship is going .
I agree, but I wouldn't complain about it if there was a sex scene 🤷♂
