Interesting, when I say that I’m more talking about a single module that ends up clumping a a lot of wires together. My “zones” can get can get dense too, and things are arranged for pretty efficient patching. For example, I like the Intellijel Vca that spreads the cable layout vertically rather than the Doepfer Vca that keeps them all close at the bottom. But there are trade offs all around and I’m pretty happy with the layout so far! Glad you watched that far into the video, thank you for that!! 🙏🙏🙏
You probably know this by now, but as a fellow Metropolix owner, there is a setting to limit the sequence to a certain number of pulses (8, 16, etc). It's really powerful because then you don't have to think about the length at all and are free to turn knobs and flick switches. Worth trying. Thanks for sharing your rack.
Yo Robb awesome walkthrough! Great work with the video man….and so many cool things going on. Well explained! Moog has some strange names for synths. ….That being said, it’s all been kinda kooky since the pinnacle of synth names…the Voyager…. Keep at it man! You have a classic great voice. ✌🏻
Jon thank you so much for watching, yeah the whole phatty line I wish would carry a different name too haha, they make great synths so the names are forgivable 😄
Hi it's interesting for me to see your take because I'm doing something kind of similar. Just starting but I've been into Eurorack for 10 years now. No rules, just what I like about Eurorack.
nice to see you, domi. been following you since your moog sound studio 3 and the model cyles timeframe. congrats on the growth of your channel, gear, talent, and passion. how do you like the kali speakers?
Hi there! thank you so much for hanging out with me! I really appreciate that!🙏. I LOVE the Kali speakers! I have only ever used them on their 'low' settings and they sound so damn good at high volume. I can't imagine needing more juice for home use. super balanced but also good bass response. I think they are tremendous value.
Nobody should feel obligated to pay attention to or care about the people who make an the stuff they buy, but, if that is a thing you think about, look into Synthrotek. The owner is a pretty heinous troll.
Hi George, I totally appreciate the comment thanks for the tip. I do really like the ADSR and I like the blank panels, I must admit I don't know anything about them, I just looked up a small ADSR with sliders, and theirs had the features I wanted at a reasonable price. I should say, I realize so many synth channels are about reviews and buying more and more gear. I didn't make this video with any intent of endorsing any of these companies. I made it as a nerdy show-and-tell to connect with other synth nerds, I literally have only one other IRL friend that is into this stuff, so any enthusiasm you're hearing in my voice is coming from my system as a whole, and having an opportunity to share my hobby with people. Thanks again🙏
Thanks, Domi! That was a fab tour! we only have 1 module in common (the uZeus!!!!) but it was still great to hear you talk about the whys and wherefores of each of the modules. New Sub...
22:36 “a dense little spot of cables” is something I work hard to create in order to make zones where jacks aren’t in the way of my fingers.

Good thumbnail! And glad to see you.
Thanks so much! It was more nerve wracking than I expected, so I appreciate the comment!
Beautiful set-up!
Thank you!
The metropolix is a complicated but rewarding sequencer! I think data bender is the next module on my list.
So right about Metropolix! And I love databender, it’s def the most fun module I’ve gotten recently!
I LOVE ! 💜
Thank you Elsymo!

@@NoiseToMost thanks for the mini review. very helpful. did you get a chance to compare them with comparable Adam Audio speakers?
advice for getting my hands on muteable instruments stages???
I wouldn’t mind one of those too! Keep scanning reverb, that’s basically what I’m doing
@@NoiseToMost just scooped up the new Pamelas PRO Workout i found some stages on Reverb but they want so much money
just do it for yourself! fun vid tho!
Thanks Nick, I feel like I am doing I for myself, I’m curious what about this video makes you think I’m not?
nothing, I was just giving positive re-enforcement I guess :)
@@nickolasyounker Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it 🙏
Enjoyable tech visit.sub bub
Thank you!
