i love how natural doctor horrible is. it looks and feels like something a regular human could make for a school project, or a play. its not over the top, but the effects are just right in the realm of quality, creative, and viable.

A musical is pretty much only as good or bad as its songs, which is why Dr. Horrible is SOOOOOOO GOOD. I mean, it's really funny and all, but a lot of things are funny. And it has great characters and story, which is even more points than funny. But the songs, holy shit. My Eyes and Slipping. AND ALL OF THEM.

As charming as a lot of the songs are, the real masterpiece and gem of the soundtrack is "My Eyes". The melody, the harmony, the guitar, the oxymoronic lyrics - it all came together

I'm happy to see this up, though I have to say I've probably watched the 3 episodes and all the featurettes a million times from the DVD!
I hope Joss gets to do something this awesome in the future. I remember watching the first episode on the very first day and half-an-hour later, bringing my brothers over to get them to watch and we couldn't because the site had crashed from staggering amount of traffic that had amassed. *Sigh* memories.
