I never played with Barbie. But what you've created looks incredible! I would love to see a high school being used as an apocalyptic/zombie safe zone for a surviving community.
This is insane! Giving me all the nostalgic Barbie vibes of my childhood. I'm going to use this with outdoor retreat and have so much fun. I love all your builds by the way I'm currently playing an old save I haven't touched in years and I'm using the Crystal Mansion. The indoor poor is one of my favorite parts.
I would dare somebody to say you cant build a camper, I would have a great argument for that. You, Kate can build ANYTHING!!

Wow this brought back such a visceral memory of playing with one of the bus camper Barbie toys and how satisfying it was to fold and unfold the halves of the roof and tying to pack my Barbies everything they’d need for their trip

This is so, so good! I never had this version of the Barbie camper… but my much younger cousin did and I remember it well. I actually had the Barbie van from the 1970s which was not nearly as cool as the Barbie camper. I just love what you’re doing with all these toy recreations and I hope you don’t completely eliminate them from your future builds because they’re priceless! 💜💜💜
Wow, I had the '70's Barbie van too! I was having flashbacks during the entire video. Also had the dune buggy, and the big live-on boat. I actually still have it all up in my attic. All of my Barbie collection is up there. I just can't bring myself to part with any of it. ☺

I had a Barbie camper that looked every much like this in the 90s and it was my absolute favorite! So this is the best Barbie build!!
I never got to have a camper but I did see a newer one, or I dreamt it, and it had a little pool on the roof and at 12 or 13yrs old I wanted it, lol.
The beginning of this reminds me of the saying "trust the process". And with you, the more determined you are, we know it'll be great.

Also i have 2 suggestions :
I was wondering if you could do a Monster High inspired build. Its more on the alternative side and i have a hard time seeing it in the sims but i do think that it could be done somehow.
Theres a dozen of different characters with completely different styles and color palettes so you can really pick something/someone that you like and work from there.
For example, Draculaura is a vegeterian vampire and her style is mainly inspired by the goth-lolita scene and she mainly uses pink shades. She has some playsets (a bed, a bathtub, a car). So you could make a girly vampire crypt.
Robecca Steam is a steam based robot so her style is inspired by the steampunk scene. So maybe the house of her inventor but shes the only one living there and she maintains it.
Operetta (based on the phantom of the opera) has a rockbilly style and she skips class in the catacombs where she sings and plays the piano. So you could make catacombs, a theatre or a bar where they play rock and country music.
Or you could make a high school for monsters (just like the show!)
If your not really into the Monster High idea, maybe the castle from "Barbie as the Island Princess" its really beautiful and theres a big tropical greenhouse
