Welcome back to this short 2 episode series about the best Plan VS Actual Chart.
As promised in the first video, I'm explaining here how to add excel chart labels in a dynamic and elegant way so that the chart won't look cluttered with so many labels.
This is the link to the previous video, make sure to watch it before this one • Plan VS Actual chart i...
And this is the link for the workbook created in the video, available for viewing and download:
    drive.google.c...
I'm using many techniques here in addition to adding labels to excel graph,. Those can be used in other charts as well. So make sure to watch till the end! :)
    Among those techniques:
    Excel formulas
    Excel find and replace
    Excel Tables

Very helpful, two questions please, 1) in case of a graph that includles 2nd y-axis, can I control that for this 2nd y-axis?
    2) will it work on any type of bars? Like with %?
    Thanks in advance

Thanks Gal. Glad you found it helpful 🙂
      Regarding your questions:
      1) yes, it should work. Just consider that, by default, the max and min of any axis are determined by the values presented in the series. So you just need to base your formulas on the right columns.
      2) Yes. Again, that's the default behavior. If you fixate the y axis to be from 0 to 100% for example, then you probably don't need a formula for determining the threshold at all. You could use a constant threshold.
      I hope this helps 🙂

@@excelrati thanks Karim, will try it now. BTW for the 2nd question, I might need to use a % formula that may be not only between 0% and 100%.
Anyway, I will check it up.
      Thanks again

@@FamilyGreenberg Sure. If the values in the y axis are percentages that you can limit between 2 constant ranges, then you should use the same method as in the video.
