Are body powered hooks more comfortable, more efficient than "electronic" prostheses ?

Hello! Good question. The only reason that some people may find them more comfortable is because they might be lighter than a myoelectric device because they don't use batteries. As for efficiency, everyone's going to be different in what they find easiest to use. At our centers, our clinical therapy specialists teach our patients how to use their device. Body-powered hooks don't have to be charged at night, so in that way they may be considered more efficient. Probably as a joke, we amputees have dark humor that keep us going.
