So it's a possibility they may team up again next season and I hope their dynamic gets.. somewhat fixed in the process cause it really feels that DesertDuo is in SHAMBLES.)

this animation aged so well that I barely realized it came out before Secret Life. He really was a tragic winner, he was all by himself and despite his many attempts at making friends and staying honest he had no one until the very end. It ties in so heartbreakingly beautiful that it was Grians ghost who told him that he won, and his words "How did the guy with no friends win?" are so aaaah I love the Life Series but Desert Duo lore wise Secret Life feels like the end since it loops back to where it began with them.
1. i just want to say that i love your art style, and i also love how you managed to tell a whole story just from a two minute video, it was great -- and the animation of the bird flying away was so dope! 2. this song fits so much! i also have never heard of it, so every time i hear it i'll probably think of this wonderful animatic
this deserves to blow up! there are so many good scenes but this stood out to be symbolically i guess 1:18 SHINY! the way it looks like it rained and 1:28 Jellie tail flick so cute, but it seems to be the sun poking out again, because if his soulmate hates him he will have to find comfort in something else
This is why I want scar and Pearl to be a legit team one of these days. They went through this similar situation at the same time. Sure they had moments. But. They hardly interacted. Plus. Think of the buildsss
