- Dream SMP: The Complete Story - Exiled!! In this documentary I give a detailed storytelling of the TommyInnit Exile Arc as well as the Butcher Army/Technoblade Execution Arc. In this series I cover everything from the L'manburg Revolution, to the Election Arc, Festival of the Dream SMP, Tommy’s Exile and the stories and development of many of the players!! @@ThatOneWeeeb I think it was illegal to do as a form of griefing, but fine if it is lore. Though most of Technoblade's lore kills don't even count as canon deaths.
If every death caused by Techno during a lore stream was a canon life, half the server would be barren.
At the very least Quackity would have lost his second character, Tommy would be gone, Tubbo would have been erased by Technoblade alone, and that... fox guy whose name I can't remember. He'd died by Technoblade during lore streams 3 times so far, but none of them counted.
It is a pity though that the lore required Techno to win the duel with Quackity in iron armor, forcing him to use one of his super rare Enchanted Golden Apples.
Those things are so busted that even being in iron armor didn't matter at all, he was regening his health faster than Quackity could swing.

I cannot begin to explain how hard that line hits based on the context of "Theseus" in the story.
The three most hard hitting lines/phrases are:

I personally think Dream saying "L'Manburg can be independent, but L'Manburg can't be free" had some depth to it

Many people focus on the hard lines like Wilbur's iconic "It was never meant to be" or Technoblade's "WELCOME HOME, THESEUS!!" but the only line that chills me to my core will always be this one:

This is actually the greatest thing I've ever seen and is *amazing* for people just starting to follow the dream smp.
Glossing over how following after L'manburg was destroyed by Wilbur and Technoblade, all of Techno's animals, items and possessions were raided, destroyed and slaughtered by vengeful residents of L'manburg. He'd already suffered retribution before the butcher army invaded his home and used underhanded means to 'arrest' him, then they tried to execute him with no trial.

This whole episode really shows how Tubbo is SO adamant about not fighting and causing war that he doesn't realize that he is showing weakness. If you show weakness then people will exploit it.
Exileing Tommy was the best way to protect L'Manberg for a moment but it only causes Tommy to seriously consider blowing up L'Manberg with Techno.
Had they stood up to Dream, they would have been following in Wilburs footsteps by standing up against Tyranny. They could/would have lost sooner but imo postponing the inevitable is never a good option.

omg ranboo. i adored his character so much. ranboo was an instant favorite of mine, and though i dont watch most dsmp members now, ranboo has stayed my favorite cc. my introduction to him through viral tiktoks and dsmp was enough for me to latch onto his online persona. i remember tuning into ranboos dsmp storyline and unironically sobbing because of how tragic his character was. now, being 2-3 years of watching them grow away from this era, and grow as a cc and a person, i look kindly back on the dsmp for introducing me to them. the impact ranboo has had on me is massive and im so grateful for my dsmp phase for this.
