Love the River Road. Elsah is fine. That drive on the river road, especially during fall is really beautiful. All those small towns along the river road are small but housing very expensive.
I just happened to stumble onto the town a few years ago and later found that my wife's great grandparents , John H. Ward and Margaret Crawford Ward were buried there in in 1864 and 1867. Their 4 year old son John was buried there in 1861.

Been to Elsah many,many, times, ate at Elsah's Landing. I sure miss that restaurant!
